'Shakugan no Shana' Creators to Start New Light Novel Series

Three years after Shakugan no Shana ended, a new series titled Kanae no Hoshi by Yashichiro Takahashi and Noizi Itou has been announced. It will be published on August 9th.

The story is about a boy who has the ability to forecast destiny. He is chosen to fight a mysterious entity that will put the world in great danger and peril.

Shana(the LN) was a decent fluff. Horrible anime adaptation though.

Hopefully JC Staff assholes do NOT get their money-grubby hands on this and ruin it...

SnS was a great serious to me, the only thing I disliked about it was the unneeded love triangle that was going on. Season 3 was cool to me because for once in his life Yuji was a badass.

SnS was pretty good...i hardly recall names of characters but Shana made a big impact on me(haha...her name's in the title too) so im looking forward on this show

Yay, can't wait to see the character designs Itou Noizi creates. She has a history of creating iconic characters (Suzumiya, Nagato, Shana etc).

I didn't mind Shakugan no Shana, but the ending was a bit so so. Still he created a pretty cool world (lets's just not get JC Staff to adapt it if or when they turn it into an anime.

This is good news for me, but I am hoping for an Anime adaption because I don't read novels!!

The ability to forecast destiny. It certainly sounds appealing. I haven't read light novels since Full Metal Panic, so it'll be fun to read these once they come out.
