Pretty much mixed feelings about the manga.

The jokes are okay (even though some attempts of it seem too over the top for me), and i like how the author can come up with new form of silliness on each chapter. But i do have some problem with the character development. The casts grew too big in mere few chapters into very diverse array of characters, before each of them getting proper developments, and as the result, some attempts at drama became dull for me.

still, i'm curious how they're going to handle the anime adaptation of it

Ah, I see.
Thank-you very much for clearing that up. :)

This seems rather interesting, I'll be watching it for sure. :D
I only have one question though. What the frag is Shanghaied? xD

"Shanghaied" means kidnapped or forcibly enlisted. It refers to the practice of gathering up men to work on short-handed clipper ships working the China trade out of San Francisco in the mid/late 19th century. Usually the recruitment teams would gather up men who had passed out from the effects of drink or drugs in the brothels and bars (sometimes deliberately drugged by unscrupulous saloon operators). When the supply of drunks was short, recruiters were known to render potential sailors unconscious using a blackjack before carting them off to the ship. Since the trip to Shanghai (main port for the China trade) was often long and hazardous, most sailors wouldn't voluntarily sign up unless they were desperate (and during the California gold rush many would desert their ships to try their luck as miners). Before the intercontinental railway was completed the voyage was even longer because the clipper ships had to round Cape Horn on the way back to New York.

"Kazama Kenji likes to believe he is something of a delinquent.
Moreover, others seem to like to agree that he is.
Of course, Kenji's gang finds their way to a group of four not-so-normal girls—Chitose, Sakura, Minami and Roka—and all at once, whatever reputation he may have is nothing compared to the outrageous behavior of the girls.
Shanghaied into joining their club, what will happen to his everday life from that point on?

Hopefully, this will lead to a Fujimura-kun Mates anime adaption as well.
Wonder why people associate D-Frag and Fujimura-kun Mates? This is not the first time I see such association being made so I am a bit curious.

To be completely honest, I wanna know why myself.
....
maybe because..how the character interacts with each other , in their own manga..??

anyone who reads them can't miss it. hell check my recommendation on it right now, i made a whole damn list, lol
Can't miss what? The similarities? If your recommendation has a list of the two manga's similarities I would like to read it -- mind telling me where I can find it?

this is what i wrote in the recommendation thing:
both are WAYYYY too similar.
-both MC's are delinquent-type characters and are treated as such. their personalities are similar as well. quite likable MC's.
-both have to deal with a number of messed in the head type girls
-both are the tsukkomi (straight man) while almost literally everyone else is a boke (idiot)
-the female MC is probably the most weirdest and dangerous out of all the other girls (in many different ways~)
-both have a tsundere that ACTUALLY a tsundere, not a b----, so their actually quite likable, and I think their the fan favourites as well.
-you will laugh, a lot actually when you read this.
