New Macross Movie 'Macross FB7' Announced

At the live exhibition MACROSS:THE DESIGN@PARCO, a new movie of Macross Frontier and Macross 7 titled "Ozma meets Fire Bomber Macross FB7" (tentative title) was announced. It will be premiered this autumn.

Hm, well this should be an interesting movie. Can't wait to see it although I'm not too familiar with any Macross besides for Frontier (which is my #1 fav anime). But can't wait too see how it ends up!

MACROSS (the whole franchise) is my FAVORITE Science Fiction Series of ALL!!! This is really awesome news, and I will follow any new info very closely! Lets see what comes about, as it is time for a new installment on the MACROSS World.

And I would like to see more Zentraedi action as well...last series were not dealing with them properly in my opinion, and they are a very interesting and rich part of the MACROSS continuum, and should get more screen time (both as antagonists and as alies as well....remember that it was said in DYRL that there are thousands of zentraedi fleets out there in the galaxy, and that means billions of zentreadi in the Milky Way )

And who knows, more Klan Klang as well ^^ !

And there are also mysteries from the old series still left, like what happened with the lost colony convoy where the first heroes were (from the first MACROSS series), or maybe encountering some Protoculture pockets left in the galaxy or nearby, as they were very powerful in the past, before their collapse, spanning a great deal of the Milky Way.

There are still thousands of possible stories to the MACROSS series, not even being necessary to create new enemies....

I have not seen Macross 7 but more of Frontier is always fantastic news to me. The original Macross will always be the best one though.

Hmm... I liked the first season of Macross, and loved Do You Remember Love?, but I haven't seen any of the newer ones... mainly because they don't interest me .-. With all these remakes of older animes they've been doing, they should do the same with Do You Remeber Love?...
