Anyways, I rather liked this episode even though they spent most of it building up the eventual Aoba/Kou relationship that I just don't see working on any level. They're just a like, and I don't really get how that equals perfect match. This will be the last (if only) time I say this: Wakaba was more suited for Kou because she brought (brings) out the best in him. So I guess until I believably see that kind of partnership in Kou and Aoba, I'm never really going to be behind the idea of it. That said, this show is growing on me in the same ways that Touch did. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| Yet another fantastic episode..I so can't wait for the game. Koh/Aoba catch ball is just perfect, and Akaishi's reaction to Momiji, was T___T!! But, WHAT? Puttin in the scrub pitcher, so what, they can easily get beat, and say it was just a warm up or something, bogus. All I know, is I just wanna see Koh fire some heaters on these guys!! Urahara Out!! | I can't wait for the game. Kou vs Senda matchup, should be interesting how this will turn out, although I would have preferred that they send out the ace. And there's nothing like popping the mitt late at night in a lovers' park. |

| Wow. It was so great watching this go from a manga to anime, especially the Aoba Koh scene in the park. Hearing that ball and Aoba's shocked face on the screen was really breath taking. Great ep, things are just getting started for this team. |

| It was a refreshing episode. I liked how it showed us some similarities between characters that I didn't saw, like Momiji and Wakabe physic/personality or Koh and Aoba thirst of winning. I'm awfully curious about who that old man was, to have a driver like that. Must be the gramps of one of those transfered student. Next episode, it's showdown bitches! I don't expect the reservist to win, but I hope they shake them a bit at least. |

| Few Ting happened this episode. I REALLY want ot know who the old man is. My guess is he might be the Other Principal (you know the one that was in the hospital mentioned a few episodes back) but i kinda doubt this guess as well. but we'll just have to wait and see. More Material to Ship Kou and Aoba i think i still prefer Kou and Wakabe still but alas, No Phoenix Downs Are around. Wait Senda is pitching...He actually got good?!? |

| Although they're similar in some respects, I thought Aoba's comments about Kou were mostly ill-founded, particularly concerning rudeness. She's the one who's being rude most of the time, and he puts up with it without saying anything or acting any different. Choosing her to give an opinion on his pitching was interesting. Looking forward to the first "real" match of the series. |

| Though the practice game came out almost from nowhere, and want that the game will actually begin in this ep, the ep really building up well for the game while showing us some Ahoba + Kou time. Really loved Kou in this ep going to ask Ahoba, it shows the best of him, how he already know well Ahoba. I LoLed when the couples in the park had shocked, it were like "did she smack him? xD Next episode - the real things started. |

| Why the hell are they playing table tennis outside in the rain? The acting principal is a dickwad. Akaishi never met Momiji huh? Guess she was too young for him to see her. I wonder how much Momiji will grow throughout this series. That old guy Momiji played catch with is kinda sus. Finally things are getting started. Ko will pitch in his first official game in a practice match against first stringers. This will be a decisive battle but I'm not sure of what. Senda being in the game at all is a shock. He might be the reason the prefab team wins lol. I imagine he cried and moaned to be included in the game to "prove himself" and this will be his undoing. I hope the new coach Daimon goes. The old coach definitely has some spark to him. I thought the prefab team manager was the coach's daughter but guess not. Could the old guy who frequents Akaishi's liquor store and her be related? I see that he showed up in front of Aoba. Speaking of Aoba that park scene with Ko pitching was good. Might be their first real unintentional date lol. |
