No problem. You must be a pretty good participant if you didn't have any strikes. But I totally agree. I never would have watched Touch or a few other shows if it weren't for the club.

Agree, Fall is looking like a bust. I'm pretty much watching sequels this season since nothing else looks all that interesting. I'm even rewatching Monster in English on SyFy. Of course, I would have watched it anyway.

Glad there are others who see it that way, too. Popular anime episode discussion -> 5 pages -> 70% uninteresting stuff plus spam and tons of one-liner.
Makes it a real pain in the ass to search for the 10 good postings in between those 5 pages. I have the feeling it's getting worse with each passing month. New user seem to jump on the train of "first", "second" and "third" postings.
As you said I also believe it's all about posting on page one no matter by what means. So stupid! :(
Seeing that some people actually reserve postings for later on when subs are out .... I'm at a loss for words.

I'm actually not sure yet. I'm still in the process of finding good subbers for the shows that I'm watching. I'll have my Fall Impressions up by the end of the month (after I've seen the first 3-5 episodes), and I'll probably take a few recommendations since I'm being really picky this season. I can say that the of the sequels this season, I'll be watching Darker than Black, Inuyasha, and Astro Fighter Sunred.
I'll pass it on to the other officers, but I'm not sure how it all works since last week straddled months.

Hehe no problem ;) I think Umineko, CANAAN, Nodame 3 and Spice & Wolf 2 should be great at least. I'm quite curious to see Sora no Manimani, Aoi Hana, Taishou Yakyuu Musume, Kanamemo and Bakemonogatari too. Seems to be a good to very good season, so I think we'll both enjoy it :)

hehe, I happened to be in Los Angeles today to help a friend with his computer, and stopped by to have Miso Ramen in little Tokyo...forgot the name of the shop, but it was on the 3rd floor of the plaza adjacent to the Kyoto Hotel in Little Tokyo... it was very tasty and large serving for only ~$7... I haven't heard of Mama-Kim's though, but I'll make a note of it and check it out next time! :) ...do you have any dish recommendations perchance, or should I go for the Galbolgi and tofu soup?! :)
