| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pretty intense episode. I was cringing my teeth since I heard Mako might die... When I saw Mako almost getting shot on the road, yeah.. Dat explosions and gunfire. The flashback was pretty awesome. Young Satsuki is pretty epic in this episode. I'm ready for this battle royale~ |

| Ryuuko's flashback about her dad was pretty freaking sad. She went to chase the killer, then had to watch her home being burned down ;_; Lol Gamagoori sucks at driving. And he's a complete masochist. Can't wait for the fight between him and Ryuuko next week though. |
| Good ep. Nxt ep though should be EPIC!!! Can't wait for that. The build up was pretty awesome. We got to know a bit more about Ryuko's past. Gamagoori's bondage M suit was O_O XDXD...Wonder how Ryuko will win against that. I wonder if each Elite 4 will get an ep? |

| Intense episode. Love the flashbacks in this. I like how they showed Ryuuko aged and how her personality changed. Sad to she her father die like that after she hasn't seen him in years. During Gamagoori flashback you got to ask yourself. How long has Satsuki been a bad ass. Wasn't expecting Gamagoori to be a masochist (and a 20 year old high school student). Now this is how you play king of the hill. Ryuuko vs the elite four. It's hard to say what's going to happen. This is not one of those anime where the main character kicks everyone's ass. If Her and Uzu are going to fight. He will most likely win again. Idk. Any I'm hype for next Thursday. Good food and Kill la Kill. Dat Slash and Go. |

| Yes! Finally, this is what I've been waiting for since the Sanageyama episode. If they can keep this quality in episodes here on out it'll be amazing. Amazing action and build-up plus comedy worked in (masochist scene, Mako singing) without going overboard like they've done before. Can't wait for the next episode. |

| "Don't loose your way..." - so easy to sing along. This episode was pretty damn good. Then again, any episode where Gamaagori gets to laugh like a maniac is a good episode. |

| I really loved the directing in this episode. The change in aspect ratio from today's standard of 16:9 to 4:3 of the past was a great idea to show the ovearll change in time. |

| I doubt that Ryuko's going to beat the elite four, unless she gets a sudden powerup. After seeing Gamagori's transformation i'm curious to see what the last two members will look like. So hype for next thursday. |

| Something interesting this episode was Gamagoori's power. He revealed that he acould attain a second level of transformation, it's obviously a thing, since it was later mentioned by Senketsu, meaning that other members from the elite 4 might also have that as their ace in the hole. That also means that both Satsuki and Ryuko can possibly become more powerful by attaining the second level of their Kamui fusion in future episodes. I wonder how that would look... |

They did that in episode 6 for Sanegayama's flashback as well. Also the change in Hue and scan lines give it that extra old school feel. It's a nice touch Pretty cool build up episode anyway. Gamagori's transformation was massively gayer than I expected, but I still lol'd. That and when Ryuko was contemplating whether to accept Gamagori's help while Mako jumped in his ride immediately. You know what 0_o, dude has a pink car, fights with whips and now his transformation? I really have been ignoring the signs.... I never really got the feel that the Elite Four and even Satsuki were all that bad to begin with. Corrupt? A little. Outright villainous? Not a chance. That flashback pretty much confirmed that. Still in the dark with Satsuki's overall motive but I'm sure that'll be revealed soon enough Oh and I almost forgot, the return of the original "Don't lose your way", :') I almost thought it'd be another episode gone without hearing it. | I'm glad to see that the Elite 4 is getting some decent development. More importantly, it seems like Gamagorri was the first one to fall for Satsuki's charisma. Still, that flashback feels incomplete. I expect that we'll see the ending of that flashback soon. So now, Ryuuko is challenging the first of the Elite 4 in her long road to beat the Champio-*shot* |
