| Seeing as this is the spiritual successor to Gurren Lagann lets hope Studio Trigger make Kill La Kill better then Gurren Lagann. Excited to see whats to come ^^ |

| THIS episode!! This ep...I can't even O_o Awesome!! All Dem TTGL vibes!!!!!! Loving it so much :D Dat Randomness XD...Dat fan service with the Sailor uniform *A* Ryuko is friggin Hot! And I'm loving her <3 Mako is so lol esp with how she eats then sleeps in class and how she reacted when she was gonna get executed XD Dem action scenes!!! Fabulous!!! Fav start of the season so far :D |

| Lol the episode was full of laughs and I loved every second of it. Amazing start of the season. Animation and characters and fast pace talking of it was enjoyable. For Triggers first animation production, it was promising. I can't wait to see more of this. |
| Wow. Over the top as expected and it didn't disappoint. I can't wait for the rest of the series now. Hope it maintains quality. Definitely liking the protagonist, badass females are my favorite. Don't know how I feel about the skimpy outfit though. Her dad is pretty creepy for keeping that around. |

| I didn't watch Tengen Toppa, but I really liked this first episode. The action scenes are funny and also the rivalry between the main female characters might turn out to be very interesting in the future. Btw why do some people say Anime is saved? XD |

| Puts you right into the action, looks like they were intending for a strong start. At first, I was drawn in.. but then comes the fanservice. It's not that I "hate" fanservice, it's just that it makes things slightly less serious for me. Thus, I can't take the anime as serious as I was hoping to. Will watch the next few episodes though just to see where it's going. |

| glad i decided to watch this today. loving the MC already. the rest of the characters all seem pretty interesting too so far. the animation and action was really great fro me :D |

Please learn about cel animation and its technical process. Learn how special effects and backlighting were done without computers. |

| Wow, I had high exceptions for this show and this episode totally surpassed them. The action was extremely satisfying, and all the characters were built up/developed amazingly. (Especially the student council). Wasn't perfect though, there were things that irked me... The main problem I had was with the main character Ryuko. Her personality is a bit bipolar and her traits are too far different for me. To me, with the amount of badass-ness that she has, she shouldn't be blushing and getting embarassed about her outfit. And the other way around, if she's that shy, they make her act WAY too damn tough. It only showed a tad bit, but it felt a little try-hard of them to cram every damn thing they can in this episode, (action, kawaiiz, tits, etc etc) But yeah, the personality issue is a general anime thing that has always irked me :/.. I guess I had the expectation that Gainax would drift away from it. Disappointed with the amount of fan-service too.. It's a tad bit distracting, especially when the characters are interrupting the moment and shouting from the side, "Nice view!!" But I guess that's the Trigger way~ |
