| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh my, Maou and fanservice this episode. Intense fight. James Sarue and his wings. Poor Emi-chan ;.; As I expected, he kinda is getting his ass kicked. The OST is okay I guess. Oh and I see that Lucifer can kick some ass with that uppercut. Even Chi-chan can fight :3 Great episode. This one probably had the most action so far. Ashiya is so late to the party though ahaha |

| This anime is so awesome, I am crying for a second season already! Aw man can't stop laughing at Maou fighting in his undies. Oh so Ashiya hair highlight become his mask in his demon form, interesting. Well Maou fanservive would have been great if the art wasn't so bad. |

| Not quite as good as the Olba climax but this arc finale had its own merits with the humor and manservice lol Getting a slap on the wrist is more than Suzuno deserves, she should be thankful that Maou is a merciful Overlord/MgRonalds employee. Still great to see Maou was perceptive about everything the whole time but let things play out to see if Suzuno could change. |
| Interesting how "evil" the angel guy was compared to Maou. Seriously, the roles are totally reversed here ^^; I knew Lucifer would not betray Maou X) I love how he's like, can I have Emi's bag? Because she'll kill me if I don't give it back to her. And of course Suzuno was going to switch sides. Poor Emi though having to endure those hits from the angel guy D: sounded painful. And LOL at Ashiya arriving late, and then agonizing over his uselessness!!! |

| I can breathe a sigh of relief as Chiho's memories were spared. Pretty good stuff, I'll look forward to the finale next week with a touch of sadness in seeing this leave my weekly routine. |

| This episode kinda disappointed me. I had been waiting the whole season to see Emi in a proper fight, but instead it's always been Maou. This episode made it even worse by making both Emi and Chiho damsel in distresses waiting to be saved. Oh well. |

| Meh... Maou didn't use his broom at all :P Instead we get to see him as the knight in shining armor... eh, I mean knight in nothing but boxers, but hey no one is perfect. Worrying about his colleague and not to dirty his uniform, now that's a thoughtful employee. Though his obsession with McRonalds is pretty uncanny, it's like he's brainwashed by the fast-food industry and will forever be their slave xD Dullahan died again -nooooooo! I like that in Maou's group knew about Suzuno from the start and just played along. It shows that they aren't that dumb but aware about lots of stuff around them, they just want peaceful days without all the drama. Even Urushihara prefers his live in the small apartment instead of Heaven - ah, the sweet life of a NEET. |

| Lucifer stole the show! Playing Olba to throw some magic Maou's way and then stopping the ceremony(and KO'ing the fuck out of Olba) to take away Sariel's advantage was awesome. GET THIS MAN SOME FRIED CHICKEN DAMMIT! Love his development. Can't say the same for Suzuno though, i dunno why I just couldn't completely buy into her turn around. She already knew Maou said nice things and was a nice guy. Seeing the light just because he was driven to go up and save Chiho even though he was powerless just doesn't sit well with me, especially after she basically watched Emi get tortured. Her conflicts definitely aren't as resolved as Lucifer's though, so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. RIP Dullahan Madara31 said: Well what do you want? If you ever played the game Bayonetta then that is actually a really accurate portayal of how angels are supposed to be like. With that said this show is actually pretty good with their portrayal of angels and demons. Demons aren't necessarily evil, but are supposed to be extremely selfish, angels like Sariel are doing their job with little regard for human life. The only thing extremely inaccurate is the fact that Sariel is human looking, which is excusable). |
| It was both hilarious and epic the whole episode. This episode just proved Maou isn't some dumb ass MC. Man, he was so badass. It felt a little bit rushed though. Just a little bit. Like 4-5 frames are missing from this episode. Is it just me? Suzuno blushing and Emi turning red was just too cute <3 Maou's seiyuu is really talented. I am glad he will voice Staz in Blood Lad. Well, what else to say... This is the epic episode everyone has been waiting for right? I think the build up was pretty worth it. Epic episode 5/5. I don't even want to think that the next episode will be the last :( Oh well, I hope the season two comes soon. Please White Fox! |
