| man im finding the chimera colony so fascinating, im kind of skipping all the scenes not related to them. its just interesting how theyre discovering human culture, and evolving by the minute, and its all kind of gross but still fascinating |
| the chimera ant queen caused the death of countless people... imagine if Gon fought and defeated her and he will be, again all like: "you lost but I won't kill you instead I will help you recover".. just like what he did to the bombers on the Greed Island Arc... oh god-fucking dammit! I really hate that!! I thought those guys don't like machines??? they shouldn't use guns then.. more like bows and arrows.. Its nice to see Ponzu and the other hunter guy alive and kicking... wait. whats their relationship again?? |

| This is fascinating. They can communicate with humans, they can read books ALREADY. This is a real stretch to me how fast they are suddenly advancing. Also, I wish they all looked a more ant-like. Some of them don't look like ants at all. So this is taking place in a nation composed of militant Amish? Lol I wonder why the mangaka would have them treat people with technology with such violence? Maybe he did this to make us feel less sorry for them. |

| i wished this anime had settled the Phantom Troupe stuff before moving to a completely new threat (an it looks like that was bout it with the PT an most of them did absolutely nothing, what a dissapoinment) anyways not much to say about this arc thus far other than, damn these designs for the chimera ants look like a joke |

| Those Chimera have surprising personalities. There was even a kind of attractive one. Didn't expect that. I don't know if she was eating alligators, turtles, and penguins along with humans. I thought they would all become more human like if she had a pure human diet. Cant wait to see the King |

| Ponzu's back! <3 The arrow guy too. These Chimera are awful. Now they have personalities and a sense of individualism. One of them was even intelligent. Bleh. They've had their first encounter with resistance, though. Did anyone notice the first squad leader (the one that came from the two children) balk at taking the children's mom? I hope these things don't learn how to use nen. |

| I have the feeling Kaito crew won't last very long against such a dangerous threat. Hunters can defend themself, but those researchers, they aren't trained for fighting. Not only that, I have the feeling the humans that were fighting aren't really friendly too. I feel like the Queen is not seeing the threat her own commanders are creating. The turtle question is not innocent at all. What is one of the most human principle. Simply liberty. The liberty to have a name, the liberty to have a free will, the liberty of having rights. Once those intelligent ants will have tasted the liberty, they'll become more and more deviant. If she create a too big army, it may become uncontrollable. In any case, it really is a slaugther. The humans aren't opposing much of a resistance and it won't last long with such a fast progression and expension of the ant race. That poor mom who lost everything and has saw her village get swept away... And that woman being totally tactless : ''Look, it's those monster who probably kidnapped your children and eated them! | NGL is a really interesting concept to me. I wonder if it would work in the real world? Send all the vegans and tree-huggers there, hah. The boy that was eaten at the start was obviously turned into the first squadron leader. I'm gonna guess he'll have a bigger part to play later in the arc. |

| Ooouuuu ;O that one mutant chimera ant had strong feelings towards the mother bc of its human part, Kurt, and spared capturing the mother. He picked up the random village man instead for the queen's feeding. Interesting. Shit, if they eat a Nen user, this shit will blow up outta proportion D: yikessssss. I didn't know Ponzu knew that one hunter that passed with Gon :0 I wonder if they're related or grew up together or whatever. |

| good episode, the woman had her children safely and a few days later when the chimeras went to attack the village she protected a child and the chimera clearly reflected on this, I hope this bow is good |

| A lot of Ant-Animal hybrids have been produced, with them openly competing against each other and being able to think out of their own free will. The Squadron Leaders are going to name themselves so I wonder what they'll identify as. It's also very interesting that the Ant who had Kurt's genes was instinctively able to recognize his real mom. DNA might not have been the only data that's been transferred to those newborn ants... Gon and Killua have no idea on what they'll be getting into but they don't have time to fear the threats that may lie in store for them at the NGL. |

| gon choice to keep up with kite seems to be little not understood, what he's aiming for by going with him? it's kinda hard to call those chimeras ant as they look like animals and human together, but it's just getting more interesting as they evolve to deep thoughts. it's still feels as we only at the beginning and preparing for the climax of the arc, i know the arc pretty long but i hope things will get started already. |

| I was unsure at first but this arc is getting more and more interesting! I'm happy to see characters from the Hunter exam. I definitely didn't expect Ponzu to return. Hopefully the two will get more screen time than before because it really wasn't much. |
