| I think nobody's discussing them because only a few people follow the raws. +1 for ability to understand spoken Japanese. If I may coin the term "Tokuchowned". Tokuchi played every single person in the show (other than himself) for a fool in at least one way here, being a badass the whole time. The soundtrack was really electrifying in a couple of points here. I was totally sucked into it. I ended up laughing my head off when the owner was all "Yamero! Yamerooooooo!!" at the tv. Although I don't understand why Tokuchi's contract still went up after the Mariners coach forfieted the game. 21 billion yen. Here's some gamblanime perspective; he's now earning about 3-4 times the entire wager of Akagi's match vs. Washizu (adjusted for inflation), about 18 times the wager of Kaiji's battle vs. Hyodo. Tokuchi is going to end up owning freaking Japan if this continues. |

| "Ni-ju-ichi-oku", which the narrator said, means 21 billion, but the numbers don't add up. Odd. The final figure was given in man yen, or 10000s, and the digits added to that were 213500. Adding 4 digits, that's 2,135,000,000. Wonder if that was a mis-written line or if they're missing a digit? Edit: Nevermind, I rechecked my terms and oku is a hundred million. Still a lot though. It'll probably be more than the other two by the time the series ends at this rate. |

| Yeah, subs say 2.1 billion and not 21. But that's still 23 million American dollars. For some real perspective, nearly 3 million is the average American major league salary (for Yankees, twice that). Pettitte, the highest paid pitcher for the Yankees this year, makes 16 million. And I have a feeling Toua's just going to make more. |

In MLB Official Rules, which Japan Baseball rules are more or less adapted from: Rule 2 (definitions) A FORFEITED GAME is a game declared ended by the umpire-in-chief in favor of the offended team by the score of 9 to 0, for violation of the rules. Rule 10.03e (2) If a regulation game is forfeited, the official scorer shall include the record of all individual and team actions up to the time of forfeit. If the winning team by forfeit is ahead at the time of forfeit, the official scorer shall enter as winning and losing pitchers the players who would have qualified as the winning and losing pitchers if the game had been called at the time of forfeit. If the winning team by forfeit is behind or if the score is tied at the time of forfeit, the official scorer shall not enter a winning or losing pitcher. If a game is forfeited before it becomes a regulation game, the official scorer shall include no records and shall report only the fact of the forfeit. |

| While I were having problems accepting One Outs in the beginning, it's starting to show just as much potencial as Kaiji and Akagi had. Watching Toua playing everyone into his palms, manipulating every aspect of the given situations and some rules, all of this while thinking outside the box and still coming up with his godlike prediction. tl;dr: I'm gay for Toua. |

| There's not a specific date. It comes out whenever B2E finishes it. Generally, though, it's been about a week in-between releases, and their last release was 6 days ago. |

| Kinda irrelevant to the actual episode, but I found Toua's talk about the true meaning of apology a little contradictory to their own staff's mistake in Ep 4 (the part about announcing one out instead of no out) that was highlighted at the end of Ep 8... LOL. |

| This show is really interesting but still when I compare "Kaiji" with "Akagi" and "one outs", "Kaiji" scores better. "Kaiji" allowed the main character to lose at times so the cliffhangers were more interesting in comparison to "Akagi" and "One Outs". However, "Akagi" and "One Outs" give you the pleasure of winning all the time :D |
