Could the names of Star Blazers: The Quest for Iscandar, Star Blazers: The Comet Empire, Star Blazers: The Bolar Wars and Space Battleship Yamato be changed to Uchuu Senkan Yamato, Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2, Uchuu Senkan Yamato 3 and Uchuu Senkan Yamato (movie) respectively, since at this moment there are three versions of the name used here and it would look better on the list this way. All the other movies have the japanese name and today it's far more widely known as Yamato.

Also, could you change the "-" from Devilman - The Birth to ":", since the other OVA(s) have ":" in their names too. Same deal with Neon Genesis Evangelion - The End of Evangelion since Death & Rebirth has a ":" in it's name. Other way around is fine too.

Is it possible to change the series shown belove the characters name on the Favorite characters section in your profile? If so, please change Ryo Saeba's series from Angel Heart to City Hunter, since that's where he is known from and has only a minor part in Angel Heart.

Of course these are all Very Important Matters.

Please change the main title for Chäos;HEAd to CHAOS;HEAD. Two official sites use CHAOS;HEAD (Game page, top right and anime page, bottom left copyright) so I think that would make it more official than the artistic license taken in the logo.

Sorry for being fussy about something like that but I think animatrix should be in anime database as one title, 9-episodes OVA rather than as 8 different entries. Here are some helpful info:

What is MAL's policy on the naming of Japanese titles, and if they should be translated?

For example, NHK ni Youkoso! is literally "Welcome to the NHK" and has been officially liscensed under "Welcome to the NHK", yet is still under "NHK ni Youkoso!".

While Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu is literally "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" and has been officially licensed under "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" and is under "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya".

IMO, NHK ni Youkoso! should be under "Welcome to the NHK" as it doesn't "damage" the original Japanese product in any way.

On a related note, Bakuretsu Tenshi is literally "Exploding Angel" but it is officially licensed under "Burst Angel" and is listed under "Bakuretsu Tenshi" (IMO, the right decision). Though when I search MAL's anime DB for "Burst Angel", Bakuretsu Tenshi comes up yet "Burst Angel" isn't under Alternative Titles. Is this an invisible Alternative Title? If so, it may as well be put on the anime's page.

the idea is to have the more familiar name as the main title. In NHK's case I think the english version is it, so consider the anime/manga/novel changed.

Couldn't find the anidb ID either so I deleted it. Thanks.

anyway, that error happens sometimes on anidb if an anime hasn't much info dislosed...but the id is correct, since it appears when kanji are searched for. the entry will show up with time

Carrying the souls of humans, the girl's existence parallels to that of a "Death God" or "Shinigami".

Doesn't shinigami already mean death god/god of death? Sounds kind of weird.

I'm still voting for Chäos;HEAd. It's the logo, thus more official. What's the reason for the Japanese to change their IME so that they can write that "ä" on their sites, it's more convient for them to just make it "chaos" mean while chäos is the official.
Edit;
cyruz and the db admin Faust decided to take the name from the logo image and it will not be changed anymore.

Yes, as Sobzob said. The logo is more official so unless the series starts airing displaying a different title, the name won't be changed. Everything else Chäos;HEAd-related on the net uses this title as well. Sorry.

What's weird about that? The 'or' refers to another word describing Death God for those who wonder how that's related to the title of the anime. It's not an 'or' that replaces the being Death God. Sounds fine to me.
