Please please plse plz plase pleees PLEASE!!!!... let it be give or take 24 episodes. A movie each chapter would be pushing it big time... Unless they where 2 or so hours each since there's almost no material that can be cut for time.

But as always, number one plus for anything anime related is NO STUDIO DEEN!!!1!111!

OH MY DOG!

Finally this day came... when I remember all those 4 years of misery while awaiting for this news.
This might be anime news of decade for me.

I was almost ready to just learn Japanese to read the novel.

Let's hope it is UFOtable and not DEEN.

And if it is DEEN, then SnI DEEN as opposed to regular DEEN.

Now thats Irony, considering f/zero will most likely be the FIRST high quality(or at least decent) adaptation of fate franchise ;)

Best work as in quality and writing style and characters? Yes for sure.

Most unique and interesting? Certainly not, that is still taken by Angel Notes in its full otherworldly obscure apocalyptic glory. I pray to gods one day its adapted into movie or something.

And hopefully one day we will get tsukihime anime. I mean we already fate anime, multiple ones at that, knk movies, multiple ones at that and now even f/0. its a crime that tsukihime is still not animated :<

Nasu didn't write Fate/Zero. Gen Urobuchi, the (I Think) lead writer for Nitroplus did. That's why F/Z is almost entirely dark and dreary, and why it's so good.

Don't argue with a troll. If there wasn't a Tsukihime anime, nobody outside Japan would ever learned of Type-Moon and the games would never be translated. Tsukihime anime brought popularity to Type-Moon in the western anime community, but some pseudo-hardcore fans have apparently forgotten that.

and on-topic,

Great news. Urobuchi writing is far superior to Nasu's.

Hmm, I seem to get the feeling that Fate/Zero is different from Fate/Stay Night? If so then I might actually give this a try, as long as it's much better than F/SN anime.

Can anyone confirm whether Fate/Zero has Rin and Archer in it? Those two, along with Assassin were my favourite three characters from F/SN.

Anyways, this is a good news to see another Type-Moon anime, although I am not a fan of their shows since

It's Urobuchi Gen's work.

I agree with 'OH DESIRE', but you need one more thing.

Nope, Fate/zero is prequel to Fate/stay night and is about previous Grail War. Still Tōsaka can make appearance as a child.

Once we get Tsukihime, DDD, upcoming aozaki sister novels, angel notes, full fsn and full f:hollow ataraxia adaptations, i refuse to believe that.

YOu do kmnow that this is a prequel taking place during the 4th war?

Rin has a role, but its very minor and more like a cameo becaus eshe is just a child during these events.

Archer has a big role, but not Archer-Arche. Its Gilgamesh-Archer.

The only ones to return for major roles from major fsn characters are kotomine, gilgamesh, Zoken and Saber

As for endings, well your milleage may vary. fate ending is more bittersweet but still a "good end", ubw ending I count as enirelly happy and while HF ending is certainly sad, its still a good ending, even if hauntingly sorrowful.

Using servant classes to talk about characters can be confusing, as there are different sabers, lancers, assassins, etc as the title is just a role fulfilled by a copy of heroic spirit.
