This episode and the announcement of second season: Keima and Elsee looks much more mature here. Not that I'm complaining, Elsee is hot!! Music and character design is really good. And the voice acting, I couldn't ask for more. Some changes were made but it turned out better than I imagined. A perfect first episode and easily skyrockets as my favorite show this season. Next episode now!!! |

| I read the manga and I gotta say I'm a bit disappointed with the first episode... Hmmm... The soundtrack isn't that good... But it was an ok episode, still.... They could've done better to portray the first chapter of the manga... I also personally don't like the OP... And "Capturing God" is definitely better than "God of Conquest", subbers should realize that! |

| the OP was a bit dissapointing. and they seem to add new/random stuff that weren't even in the manga like the scene where keima's choked by the collar, the scene at the end where he almost fell of the stairs and elsy should've been drawn cuter or simpler. maybe it's just cuz I read the manga I'm biased if I have to comment on the anime adaptation. the manga is more enjoyable imo but I know those who hasn't read the manga will still like the anime. They did well so far. I just hope they'll do better on the second season |

| I feel like I missed the announcement at the beginning of class or something... what's so "OHMYFUCKINGGODTHISISTHEBESTSHOWEVERANDTHEBESTADAPATATIONOFTHEBESTMANGAEVER" about this? It's definitely unique, but it's not LIFE CHANGING. At least, not yet. First episode was good, but I hope every "capture" won't be that shallow >_> Edit: Oh. I figured it out. My mental RAM is full. | I thought it was kind of odd that they didn't really show the kiss even though they did in the FLAG.0 preview. I sure hope this won't continue to be the case for the rest of the season. Other than that, I enjoyed this episode. It pretty much exactly followed the manga, and I'll be more than content if it continues to do so. |

| surprisingly good, other than the few differences people have already pointed out, and HS's crappy naming. i liked the OP song, but towards the end its like they ran out of ideas to put in the op so it was just keima for like 10 seconds straight doing nothing o.O i hope they dont cut out / change alot of the jokes, i like twogk's actual humor rather than gag comedy. i think they made elsee just a slight bit too adult looking, and keima a little too young in some scenes, especially some of the comedy scenes when he was spazzing, he looked like a little kid, and the VA did NOT help that.. why couldnt it be jun? T_T ah well all in all, as soon as a decent subber picks this up, it should be good. i hope they can stretch it reasonably for 2 chapters an ep rather than 3, it would just feel too rushed if its 3 =/ |
| I'm pleased...and the opening was a pleasant surprise. Looking forward to seeing more. I'm pretty sure it's only going to get better from here. I always felt like the first capture was just an introduction for the ones to come. |

| At first i thought it was a PSP advertisement. Anyway, i don't really know what to think. I wasn't awful but it wasn't very good ether. I'll have to watch more episodes. It doesn't seem like a show that i will drop but i doubt i will be anticipating for it every week. Hope it will have more plot than just conquering a girl every week and then going for the next while she loses her memory. |
| This was a really faithful adaptation of the manga. I didn't like the OP. They left out one good joke and I'm not sure why. Keima was more composed in the manga. Keima's catchphrase lacked the dramatic delivery it had in the manga. So 4 relatively insignificant complaints but overall it was great and well worth spending the time to watch a great manga colourized. Also Elci's scarf thing was an entirely different colour from what I imagined. That was a fun surprise. |

| I never read the manga but recently saw the first episode a while ago, very impressed of this anime should be good. So I rated it to 8/10 so was also thinking to reading the manga, since everyone said the manga were awesome. The first episode was pretty okay, and he called himself the capturing god, but that just only 2D girls. But games show a lot being useful in real life in this anime lo, that he can even captured a girl heart in real. Even thought the girls memories is removed when they fall in love with him, the hearts seem to remember him. I can't wait for the next episode. Well I did downloading the Horriblesubs but was so tired so I went to sleep when I woke up I redownload the Chihiro version and the subbed were pretty good. Subbed it just extra learning for me, don't mind watching without it |
