Nice episode, once again Maria upholds the tittle of baddest bit*h. Loved the ending sequence with Nino and Ric, very endearing, not too weird or overly dramatic, spot on. Plus Kappa is apparently a boss'.
Still the one thing that caught my eye is when Ichinomiya looked at Nino and was reminded by somebody in his past, and he was walking away looked at a picture into his pocket watch. Assuming it to be Ric's mother is most obvious, but then again I cant think of anything else.
I love this show. So funny and heartwarming at the same time. Shame that it has one more episode left. Gonna miss this show. I love this season, lots of great shows. Next season seems a bit weak though.
I'm kinda torn. On the one hand, I really would love to see a second season. On the other, if they do make one, but totally butcher the series due to a loss of ideas or something, it would really suck.
I'm not a therapist. Solve your own problems.
Oh, and Algebra?
Stop asking us to find your ex, she's NEVER coming back.
Kou's dad cracked me up. Seriously, imagine Ikari Gendo from Evangelion acting cool in boxers, it's the same here with the police station scene. I have never seen a guy before being all high and mighty without his pants.
Besides that, this was a very sub-par episode. Shaft QUALITY animation, and formulaic "we need to end this, so here is the corniest thing we can muster, even if the core of the show was so wildly not by-the-numbers as this conclusion" I'm guessing that the mysterious man was Nino's father, and I wonder why I haven't thought more about her family situation in the first place. I assumed she was some kind of spoiled princess that left home for one weird reason or another at the beginning, but now I guess she was as sheltered and brainwashed as Riku, but rebelled instead of becoming like him.
^Lol, didn't expect to see you here this early. KSN hasn't released ep12 yet. Anyways, I thought that the mysterious man was the mayor. The voice was the same. But that is an interesting idea about Nino.
LMAO shooting stars part was really funny. It's too obvious that it was the kappa who saves the bridge because the sound of the voice actor. Nino holding the phone was really funny, and at the end where Ric's papa got arrest by the police cuz of wearing boxers was really funnyxD
anyways, nice episode, hope the last episode will be awesome:D
the shooting star idea was awesome specially the endless shooting stars lol. i initially thought it was nino's dad or something that cancelled the project but after looking here and rewatching the episode it is indeed the voice of mayor in there. lol at nino's expression on singing pants and answering the cell
"Its unfair, If he's Full
I feel like I am Full also"
"If you can do,then give it your best shot,
If you think you can do
The think that I can't do"
"I stay with Nino forever"
And what his father can't do and Kou can do?? simple ^^
here my own quote
"I am idiot but I am not Fool"
Kou maybe an idiot living under the bridge despite of being rich
but he is not a fool of not enjoying his life with Nino and the other villagers.Even family regulation cannot change the unbeatable fate of Love.Too bad,His father realize it after his wife left him.I almost cried when he loot at the picture of his wife.
Other people may think a different perspective than I, but this is my feeling toward the this series Arakawa Under the Bridge
Shooting stars hahahah xD
Everything was great, Maria's still abusing and Sister's bleeding as always.
Really loved the ending, Riku said that he wanted to stay forever with Nino.
Riku's dad pants got stolen too, and lol at the last bit....the police said to riku's dad "It's just a pair of pants! Why are you being so arrogant?!" hahaha xDD
So the mystery guy is the mayor. Is he some big rich guy in the real world?
Father gong around with his underwear and being arrested was funny. Especially his attitude to the police. And it seems he had his own Nino at some point in his life.
The similarities with his son are obvious.
Phone call to Nino was nice. Funny and then romantic.
