 The official site of Kekkai Sensen has announced that the twelfth and final episode, titled Hello, world!, will air on October 4 with a runtime of 46 minutes. Additionally, the staff announced that they will host a special event in Tokyo on the same day.The season finale was originally set to air on July 5, but was, according to the production committee, delayed until further notice due to the episode requiring more than the scheduled 30 minutes time slot. Based on the manga by Yasuhiro Nightow, the series received an anime adaptation by Studio Bones for Spring 2015. The Blu-ray and DVD releases charted #1 in Oricon's weekly rankings on their first week, selling 12,171 and 4,784 copies, respectively. Source: Official site |

| I was starting to think we'd never get this final episode! I'm glad they have managed to find a time to air it as well so we don't have to wait even longer for a DVD. I'm not excited but I want to see how they resolve everything and I also want to be able to finally mark it as completed. |
