Though at the very least, the cops will be required to attend additional training. Maybe it'll get them less trigger happy. |

The video stated the cosplayer was still brandishing the sword (or that he appeared to have been) as he was running away, so maybe the cops felt that he was still a threat to the community. If that's the case, I can understand why they felt the need to keep shooting. That's a possibility at least, I'm not justifying the cops' actions of killing the dude. They probably could have just shot at his legs or something to incapacitate him. |
