| It never ceases to amaze me just how perfect the timing is of these announcements. They are made just at the time I go to sleep, giving me a rather slow start. Not like I mind being a late bloomer, but it just reminds me on other things like ORAS releasing a week after for Europe, while it's a set date everywhere else in the world. Regardless, I just hope you include that in the event. The OP states that the rooms are open at least 24 hours, so I hope you will extend the first one a bit more. | You may find them pointless but not everyone does. Community events are a fun way to bring the community (and staff) together and that is also "improving" the site in a way. If you don't want to participate, that's okay; however, they do have their merit. |

| Technically, if anyone wants to start participating in the event right now with the goal of escaping the mansion, that's impossible. Four out of eleven main rooms have already disappeared, and eight main candies are needed to escape the mansion successfully. Naturally, you can still participate, but that one imaginary goal cannot be reached anymore. |

Many candies have been given and a few brave souls managed to escape before the mansion slipped into the fog... ...we have finally reached the conclusion! First of all, A BIG THANK YOU to all of our MALoween✟Mansion challengers! In the end, 70 users joined the mansion, but only 39 attempted to brave the evil that laid within... I enjoyed watching all of you participate in the threads, and the success of these events are always possible thanks to each and every one of you. Second of all, please take the time to give A BIG THANK YOU to Snowical, who did most of the organising and planning of the event while I was away (and put up with my meddling when I was able to help out). Please also thank Maffy for all of her help with the bonus events, and all of the mods who took the time to create and run their own rooms: _Ghost_, julyan, LastChapter, Luna_, Naruleach, opernlied, orithyea, Snaxia, Touka and Zelot. Without all of their creativity and hard work, this event would not have happened. Without further ado, here is the final CANDY TALLY!  ✞ Only 10 users managed to collect enough candy to leave the mansion. ✝ The remaining 29 users will be trapped at the mercy of the mansion residents for the next year~ ✟ Of these 10 escapees, only 2 users managed to get candy from all main rooms! Congrats! We hope to see you all – and even more challengers – next year! Edit: Typos are evil. And while I'm here, look forward to Secret Santa coming soon! |

| Thanks so much for this event! I was a quitter before this event began, but a lot of the rooms made me encourage myself to just keep thinking instead of giving up. That's not something I expected to take away from this event at all. And thanks to any fellow participants! I gained a lot of hope when I'd see users having trouble but eventually solving the riddles. If I hadn't seen that, I probably would have given up at the first room-- which I was very close to doing. So thank you everyone; mods, participants, and all! :'D |
