| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ah Ging you and your decisions..not that I'm surprised. At the same time, Pariston is acknowledged for his ability... We get some flashbacks again with Gon and Kite again as well. Ah Killua, I hope you will succeed in healing him. So much tension in the hall. I found Leorio's reasoning for becoming Chairman to be kinda amusing though. |

| Man, Hunter x Hunter will certainly leave a huge void once it's over, that I just can't see being filled by any other anime in the near future. Another very nice episode, I'd say. Certainly love how they focus on the remaining participants, seeing how three of them (minus Cheadle) are genuinely interesting folks. |

| It was nice to finally see my favorite Leorio moment animated! In general a decent episode, though it's too bad they did cut out Ikshonpay's final comment, which definitely made me chuckle when I read the manga. |

| Leorio and Kurapika are my favorite main character so nice to hear leorio's speech. :D Pariston'suit never dissapoint and Pariston have 5000 ants like Palm :D Mizaiston is the best zodiac with Paristroll and Ging and nice to see Hanzo too. |

| Pariston is awesome. He is playing with that election like he s playing with little toys. Only Ging can really see through the bullshit. Next episode will be intense, can't wait to see it. |

| Hey guys, i know this is not a manga discussion (not that i read it or anything) but i was just wondering is "the manga" on hiatus or is it back on FOR REAL ??? i know it wont affect the series, being ending and all, but at the very least in a couple of years the series will surely be revived :D so i guess that counts for something right?? :/ ... any thoughts on the mater ?? or CONFIRMED news about the manga ?? awesome ep btw as always :P, MADHOUSE you rockkk --/ cheers |

| Well, it's a toss-up between Leorio and Pariston now, and I could honestly see either of them coming out on top. I find it interesting that Ging claims Pariston is the only one left in the election who carries on Netero's will. At that, I find it ironic that, while all of the Zodiacs (save Pariston) cared for Netero, they all hate Ging and Pariston, who are supposedly the most like Netero. In any case, I'm guessing those leftover Chimera Ant eggs will be the basis of the Dark Continent arc I've been hearing about. If that's correct, I'm guessing that Pariston has a slight edge over Leorio to win the election for Chairman. Decent episode. Hopefully we'll see Gon back to normal next week. |
| From a non-manga reader stand point: The election depends what Leorio says next. The voting seems to be highly volatile based on his actions as the independents don't seem to really take the election all too seriously if a minute long pep is able to sway them all over. |

| Honestly this episode was bad really bad..... I'll give it 2/5 and that's the first time I'm giving a hxh a episode such a low score. Wasn't feeling this episode at all. |
| I really liked this episode, they made the politics very interesting with the mind battles between the election candidates. Pariston is so fucking awesome. Also laughed my ass off with Leorio and the jerking off bit. |

| Just finished watching the original Greed Island OVAs so when the first thing I see this episode is Ging I was like "MAAAAAAAAN." Leorio and Pariston were definitely the stars this episode. "Uh, forget the part about jerking off" that was gold. The way Pariston is toying with the election and just throwing everyone off balance is a riot. I almost spit water everywhere when he nominated Mizai and said "Cheadle lacks combat, Leorio lacks experience, I lack all three!" I'm surprised Killua and Alluka are at the hospital now. I wonder if Gon will wake up before the election is over. Also saw Melody there which makes me want to see Kurapika already argh! Bisky's looking stylish as always. |

| This episode brought a tsunami of tears over my face when Leorio gave that speech... It was nostalgic because last fall my father went for surgery at Western's University Hospital in London, Ontario. Everyone had thought the surgery went fine, until he started to bleed out in the middle of his first night staying in the hospital. Suffice it to say, after 5 blood transfusions and half a year of healing, he's basically back to normal now. But what hit me was seeing him so close to death, during my first year at university. What Leorio said is exactly how I felt those 3 weeks of him being hospitalized. I wanted to be there more than anything, yet there was nothing I could do except visit him after my classes. This makes it all the more painful to see the anime end at episode 148. I couldn't name any other series that has made me feel the electricity of life. |

Leorio, you are the best <3 He's essentially fully recovered, however he stills sees a specialist once a year to get a test done on his kidneys, and the area that bled out to make sure it's functioning correctly. Thanks for your concern <3, although it was a difficult time (for weeks he was as pale as Killua lol), kudos to HxH for breaking an anime barrier and effecting my emotions like that. It really caught me off guard. |
