@all, ok I didn't realize that fate zero was tightly connected with fate/stay night. I am gonna change my review once I watch it all.

You're reviewing a part of something, not the whole.
This is a prequel, there is a sequel (which features multiple story lines) to this as well as a sequel to that sequel. That's not counting the other series sharing the same universe. The Nasuverse is amazing, you're missing out. It's an incredible weaving of imagination.
It's like you're reviewing the second movie of a trilogy of which you've only seen 2/3s of.
Meh, like I said, it's you missing out.

Wasn't the whole stereotypical mage war started by fate/stay night? I think the fact that you have yet to see Stay night limits how much you can understand/enjoy zero. You can't just start a series in the second season then complain how you can't follow. All that said, I'm not trying to flame you or anything. I just think you should give yourself the opportunity to enjoy this series by watching the whole thing.

@shadowtsunami. I agree I may be biased since I didnt watch fate/stay night, I could have missed something there. My review was for s1 and s2 of fate zero though, not only s2. Taking that issue aside, I am sorry but the story doesn't cut it :).

Why would they need to this is a direct continuation of the first season, so that point is pretty invalid. It's like saying in Natsume's Book of Friends, the main characters have to be re introduced each season.
I do agree the anime is being a tad bit overrated, but I think it will be a 9-10 end the end regardless, since the first season was already an 8.75, but you have to realize that many people from the first season aren't even watching it lol.
