| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. The new opening song is pretty good. I knew the visuals for the op were gonna be different from the anime visuals. Seems like the first episode was focusing on Ougi and Kanbaru. Also new girl arrives early which is dope. We got some head tilts although i was expecting more. |

| Ah, this was worth the wait. We get some harsh words to Kanbaru in the beginning. Poor girl. The theme song is great too. I really like the style of it. Can't wait for the CD release. This was a really nice insight with Kanbaru imo. I like how Kanbaru quotes on her arm about being human again. That's classic. Anyways, good start so far. |

| So this sequel focused only on Kanbaru just like how monogatari series focused on one character on every arc. |

| Great start. Numachi(Akuma) used to be a basketball player like Kanbaru, but she injured her leg in a game and it still hasn't fully healed. Kind of feel bad for her, but she's still a mysterious character. Kanbaru woke up the next day without the devil's arm.. I wonder what happened to it. |

| Yes, was originally supposed to air weekly starting on May 31st but they were late so they had to delay it until today when they showed all 5 but really they showed a movie as there was only one OP and one ED with just very short ad breaks in between. |

| Well, why the ending theme is not shown? Anyways, good start and welcome nostalgia. Asumin's character is kinda mysterious but I wonder if she will be the antagonist... Still have to wait for the subs for Episode 2 and above. |

They'll probably edit them for the Blurays. In fact, the OP was supposed to be the ED! Not sure if that will remain the same or if they'll swap them or if they'll have a new OP and just make the current ED the 'image song' or whathaveyou. |

| If anyone is wondering the first episode is translated my advice is u should wait for it to be translated in full because in japan they showed it as a movie not episodes idk how stream sites would release it but i hope its how the tv aired it |

| She got her arm back!! Can't really say if it was a good episode. I see that there were mistranslations so I will have to re-watch it. But I will say I did enjoy it. The whole back story on Kanbaru was interesting. Can't tell if her mom loved her is not. I think she was just harsh. Karen in high school now. The devil lord was someone she knew from a long time ago. Seems like the problem was solve, but you know it can't be that easy. Dat text message. Surprise she got her arm back so quickly. Wonder what's going to happen next. |

| Love Kanbaru. She's cool and independent. And I love her weird relationship to Araragi.. Kanabaru's mom seems to be a crucial person to understand the goings on in the Monogatari series. I hope we find out more about her now during the course of Hana. |
