| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well unlike the previous episode, I thought this one escalated quite a bit with a fight already. NOT and EAT are also explained a bit and defined in two categories. I see what they did there with the title lol. Anya looked cute in a ponytail too this episode. Still, the girls are finding themselves in a bit of trouble there. It's also nice to see Kim in this episode too helping out the girl. |

| I got glad that Ox is a nice guy in this series as same as in Soul Eater. I like him a little, even though everyone on MAL didn't mention him. And the story advanced in this episode. Perhaps, the shadows of enemies appeared. I think it got more better. |

| And again a nice episode. Jacqueline looks a lot better than she does later in Soul Eater. Ox is still a nice guy and I still like him a lot. I hope this series also gets a good fighting part. Next episode seems to be pretty hot. I want to see Medusa again. |

| Nice episode ones again. Seems something happened to Kim senpai with her change, and judging from the situation someone probably bullied her or something like. Would not be surprised if that's related to her hair cut as well, rather sad to see something like that happen. It's fun to see the characters bonding but allot still has to happen judging from the looks of it. | very good episode. even though the animation isn't quite up to par w/ the first episode in terms of slice of life moments, at-least they spill some money into the fight scenes. but i really was spoiled by that first episode :I such good animation all around.... if only Kyo-ani.. ah well =w= |

It is a side story, because the main characters here are not part of the original Soul Eater. But, considering the appearance of multiple original SE characters, and the direction the story seems to be heading, it appears this will serve to give background and depth to some of the stories/characters that didn't get explored much in SE. On that note, I have to say, this episode was much better than last week. I will continue watching for at least another week, hoping that things will pick up soon. The original SE took a while to really pick up and get good too, so I'm sort of expecting the same here even with the shorter length of the series. As I haven't read the manga, I'm interested as to the part that Liz and Patty play. I'm assuming it will be important since they're shown in the OP, along with a brief shot of Death the Kid(but considering who his father is it's only natural for him to appear). |

| I like that this series is kind of like a prequel. We get to see everyone before the original series takes place. We also get background information and explanations that weren't in the original. Such as Soul Eater's name (stage name!), different classes, the dorms, etc. Side characters from the original are developed too, and Ox is such a nice guy. ^^ Guess I was wrong last episode about this being purely a SoL. Seems like there will be a darker plot later on. |

| People who haven't seen original SE yet, go and watch it now! ( ꒪Д꒪)ノ not only to know side characters better and notice more cameos, but because its an amazing series. Great episode tho, a little bit of seriousness and cuteness.I love it.Also Jacqueline :D Oh, and now we know why is SEN called NOT, lol. |

The original has a unique art style. Its art style is part of what really gets me (Fights are really well done from what I've seen). While I prefer SE, I do enjoy both series. In this, the art is more "generic" I would say. It's not really a bad thing, I think it fits the more slice of life feel I get from it, so it doesn't really reduce my enjoyment. I find it to be nice, but I understand that someone who really enjoyed SE before could be a bit put off by this. |

| I gave it a 4/5 because it was good but not as good as the actual soul eater I don't think it wil be as good as the original but I'm going to keep watching. How many episodes might there be? |

| I think some people are being a little harsh on this series. To me, this is a nice sequel to soul eater, the plot is about equally good for both (at least based on the first 3 eps), the fights are still nicely animated and the only difference I see is a bigger focus on slice of life aspects since the leads are now female, which is enjoyable in its own way. I like this art too, all 3 female leads are pretty cute and frankly, I think the art in soul eater is a little silly. |

| So the plot kicks in a bit earlier than I thought it would! This was easily the best episode of the series, even if the characters looked off model a bit, its nothing that can't be fixed on the home release. Plus it was nice to see some character development for Kim, and seeing how Ox really is a nice guy, something that wasn't really shown in the first series. Plus it was still cute while having action elements to it! |

| "I played the game called "Real Life" once, the Graphics were amazing but, the Story sucks. PVP was not allowed. The Physics Engine was very shitty. I wasn't fond of the Characters too. The Soundtrack was great until the 90's update. Respawn time sucked as well. " |
| I actually liked this episode. Interesting to see the Traitors, and Kim having some character development. Anya is always alone isn't she, well she two close friends that will cheer her up :D. |

| Its a interesting anime to say the least . Seems like its going to be a fun anime to watch, though I dont like the art , not thats its bad or something , but feels like out of place somehow... And to much fighting over that weapon girl lol, no wonder its Soul Eater NOT after all. |

| Cute episode as usual~~ I love that this series is giving more light to the secondary characters in Soul Eater. Ox, Kim, Jacqueline, I always thought they felt a little "empty" in the original. Jacqueline's hair style here is so much nicer too. |

| It's been so long since i've watched the original Soul Eater that i completely forgot who Kim was untill Jacqueline showed up. While nothing amazing in itself i'm pretty happy that this series is expanding on the soul eater universe and showing us more what life in the DWMA is like. Things like why some people are weapons and some meisters weren't really explained in the main story. |

| Yup, definitely a better episode than last weeks. There is more detailed information between the differences of NOT and EAT, now the title of the series make SENSE! LOL The scenes between the fight and the slice of life does blend in well this episode, but the story is way too slow at the moment, with only 9 episodes left, how ARE they gonna introduce the villain of this season properly? Still awesome nevertheless, great to see old SE again! Kim healing ability is new to me. and crossing my fingers for Medusa to show up soon! 3/5 overall |

| Interesting one, I enjoyed it. There was a bit more action, which I wanted to see. I wonder if Tsugumi, Meme and Anya will go into EAT by the end of the series. I hope they do. Kim is getting invloved in the plot as well and a bit of Medusa too. I hope we see some action on her side as well. |

| Damn, dat fanservice in the next episode preview :O It was a good episode. The weird aggression part was confusing, but at least, it established a bit of a main plot. The yuri is strong in that show. And Anya is such a great soft tsundere :P |
