| It was announced that the J9 series will get a new TV anime project to air in 2016. The J9 series is a trilogy consisting of Ginga Senpuu Braiger, Ginga Reppuu Baxingar, and Ginga Shippuu Sasuraiger that aired from 1981 to 1983. Masayuki Yamamoto, who composed the music for the trilogy, will also compose the music for the new project. | Never even heard of these, but I have played a shmup based on the Time Boken series which Yamamoto did create though I never watched those two anime yet. I also get the feeling that these 3 titles went the way of GoLion back in their time, mostly forgettable by Japanese audiences but unlike GoLion didn't get a mackre or anything in the West for Western audiences to remember. For mecha standards, they do look average but I wonder how the new project will fare. |

| For those who haven't watched it, DO IT LIKE RIGHT NOW. I personally haven't finished it yet (I'm planning to), but this series (Braiger) has humor and style. It's just FUCKING FUN. That's more I can say than 80% the mecha shit that air these days. (Vulvarape in anyone?) |

Not to mention that until recently i just knew the series. It's debut was in @Gaiden, which i found it strangely enough that it didn't make it in @2. And i do not have a 360, or GC so yeah. Neo is still in my backlog though. It might take a while to watch all J9 series.
