Yeah I know it happens to me all the time, I end up watching and finishing episodes without realising. All I wanted to do was look at a clip XD

Yeah it really will be hard to top, i enjoy those series so so much I still talk about it to this day. They both have great universes and characters in them, if the story/character development is good, then I’m sure to enjoy it.

Hey great profile, good to see someone else who shares an interest in the more serious anime like GITS and Evangelion, they are my favourite as well. Ive read good things about Legend of the Galactic Heroes so i will have to check it out :)

As far as Akira goes, I will read the manga BUT I can't forgive the anime for being so unforgiving of people who haven't done so. I gave Boogiepop Phantom a 9 for the same reason it expects you to have too much background knowledge and requires a couple of rewatches to fully grasp. (Boogiepop gets a 9 because i think it's better than Akira in general but yes they both suffer from the same syndrome).
Finished logh ages back and all the ovas just haven't updated my list.
Mine Fujiko: you're right mine fujiko was refreshing, reminded me a lot of Bebop, great production values, constantly turned on while watching LOL - but it's missing "something" that I can't quite place.
DTB: The second season was enjoyable no doubt, but the ending was a big cop out. hence - disaster.
My tags are more of a memory aid, than an impression of the whole series.
