Now, the only thing I can say truly that you're right about, as well as many others, is that: Yes, with them squeezing in the deaths and sadness he's undergone into only 3 episodes, it does make it hard to relate to this story and emphasize with him. But how all that stuff happens, it's not actually a bad story / story line and You should at least be able to understand that, seeing as though you see yourself as some kind of Anime Encyclopedia. But if you still think this is such a bad show then, fuck off, get the hell out, and go enjoy your "Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imou" and "Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse", ;) . Maybe you can suck in some "Queen Blade: Rebellion" as well.

Ps - Big words like "Ad hominem", False words like "Fanboyism" and "Long, Hard to Follow, Sentences" will not make you sound more intelligent or even anymore experienced than you are. Your main problem is that you're actually too old to even watch anime and give valid pros and cons about this, still developing, art style. The reason being; the only good animes you ever watched prior to this were ones such as "Astro Boy!".
Now, Guilty Crown, Horizon, and SAO may all have problems (Horizon probably being the worst), but they are in the same awesome catagory that you can't seem to see. The only one I agree on is Muv - luv. It was terrible to begin with and bad enough to drop after only 2 episodes.
What I see is that you have a amazing talent for picking the, literally, Most Popular Animes Out there and Raging on and on about nothing at them. Now, if there were alot of people like you directing the same disappointment towards these shows, I think it would only be fair to say that you're right about alot of them being Failures. But, since you 1 in 1000, don't you think that maybe you opinion is a little backwards? I'd wager that either anime just isn't your thing or you, blunty said, really like to Troll, hate, and shit talk.
The only Basic Concept that you're managing to explain is that there wll always be haters that pick the most popular things out there to Down, and try to ruin them for everyone. There are far to few flaws in this show for you to actually be posting on this Forum, So like many have already told you in the past few days, Leave Us Alone whilst we enjoy our so called "Anime Failure".

I'm not sure what to say but it seems your hating. The idea with MMORPG with level based this sort of things happen those guys were level 50-55 and his level 78 with a high level hp recovery of course they can't do anything to him your either not experienced with mmorpg to say those sort of words.

It is also normal to show off in MMORPG if your the superior player and other low level players who thinks their cool because they can pk other players show off to you I'm pretty sure you will act cocky yourself.

Go and kill the last boss? they don't even know the games level limit let alone the boss level and skills how can he just rush up to the boss he may be a badass but in MMORPG sorry it doesn't work that way.

I see nothing wrong with loli since alot of players in the mmorpg world range from 12-20+ so I don't think a majority of people really care. Also I see nothing wrong with abit of fanservice it's nothing like to-love-ru type of fanservice so theres no problem just a small fan service because the 3rd episode was depressing and help lighten up some people. So your either just trolling or hating

Agreed. Excellent catch, one that I didn't even notice so it didn't ruin my enjoyment of it ^_^

Everybody says the next episode is going to be crucial because it'll be a difficult conversion from LN into anime format given its complexities. If they pull it off - given the skill required - the rest of this series might be solid gold.

Nothing like a nice fluffy episode after the angst cry fest of the previous one. This is what makes good shows. Just enough light and fluffy to tame the dark and depressing.

Could have done without all the tentacles however.

I honestly hope this show picks up again soon!

The first 2 episodes had a great start and were fun to watch! Even episode 3, though rushed, was good. But this episode was, in my opinion, pretty bad. Nothing entirely significant happened other than finding out what level Kirito is, and I had actually expected it to be higher than that since it was so secretive before.

Silica was probably the worst addition to the show so far. I didn't like having her at all, she was weak, irritating and boring. I'm glad she isn't staying (Apologies to anyone who liked her).

I'm still interested in the show! But I feel the need to be a bit harsh since the show is starting to let me down a bit.

LoL, Obviously I was trolling you about your name because you'd done same to me ("Your name is in l33tsp3aK (so cool)")... You said that. And if you go back a few posts you also made a comment about it being only too easy to steal money from girls' pockets as long as you had a really attractive JB around, despite whether or not his voice is actually good. That is being a little bit Sexist. And sexism comes from one being biased.
So, as you said in your last post, you are old and therefore, I can only assume that because your of your sexist veiws, you were born in a time where women weren't completely equal in society with men.

Btw I'm older than 16 if it makes you feel better about being called racist/sexist ;). And who could hate Astro Boy since it was the beginning of Anime? If you read my comment Very Carefully, I had said that the only Good Animes you had watched fully were Astro Boy. I meant that, regardless of how good it was as a show, anime has changed drastically and become something you're really unfamilliar with.

Finally, No, I haven't "run out of arguments" I have only one main problem with you, and that is that this Isn't a bad show. As long as you can create an argument related to it being A bad Anime so far, well, I can come up with a lot more reasons why your wrong. The basic con of this Series is the time jumps, but everyone has come to terms with that and looked ahead because of it having so many pros.

Pros:
1. A potentially good plot
2. Potentially good characters (The ones we can all relate to, care about, and fall in love with)
3. Character development (rushed, but we still see a little each episode to correspond with his personality)
4. Many different Conflicts (Ie; Man vs Man, Man vs Nature, Man v Himself)
5. A good plot twist (You're in a game now, but you can't leave until lvl 100, and if you die it means you actually die)
6. The beginnings of backstories
7. Few Plot holes (This combats against the futuristic setting which some people may find unrealistic)
8. The fantasy genre and fighting theme
9. Setting: A interesting world with vast glorious landscapes (what you expect in a great MMORPG/FPS)
10. Great voice actors
11. Really crisp animation
12. Awesome fighting scenes
13. Epic music
14. Good OPs/EDs
15. That MMORPGS are being explained little by little to increase understanding for viewers
16. The fact that it will be 26 episodes long at least
17. Anyone else got something they could add?

Cons:
1. Bad pacing (but will be fixed once the main story begins)
2. A noob gang player was dual wielding his axes (a big mistake, but nothing more, I would guess the character just picked up the second axe and had to continually use one hand at a time)
3. Silica being somewhat recycled (I don't thiink she is but some do, I think she has many things, similar charcaters from other animes, don't)

So you can leave or stay if you want, but you be continually losing this Dispute we have as long as you were to keep using the same old points which can be found in your first post through to your most recent one; "The pacing sucks" and "it's impossible to emphasize with the under developed characters".

Obviously it's your fault when you didn't even do some research. You brought JB, some sort of bible in here and mistook the word "kuro no kenshin - black swordman". Even the original authour usually used that word to mention kirito in the novel, and what gives you the right to stop us from using that word for the same purpose as the author? Who cares about your berserk black swordman ? If you dont want that term to be used to describe SAO's mc, talk to the author.

Wow, I think I'm enjoying this episode a lot. Maybe I'm a sis-con? I don't know. :3

Silica's fanservice in this EP was unexpected for me though. She does look cute.

By the way, is it a trend that they're using one heroine per episode? I kinda wish she'd be one of the lead characters toward the end of the episode, helping him clearing the 100th floor.

For a sidestory episode, it was really good. I really liked Siliica. (and she's really cute) I felt bad for her losing her dragon at the beginning. Kirito is an awesome character. The last line with her saying she finally had an older brother was really great. I hope she appears again soon.

Maybe all this side story stuff just means that once a main plot starts getting focused on, there won't be a lot of filler later on. Hopefully. Normally I would complain about the lack of an overall plot, but episodes 2-4 have generally been pretty good. Although, I just get the feeling that this is just an episodic highlight series so far. I actually didn't feel very rushed to me, just really short. I guess it wouldn't be too bad if there was more episodicness to it, if they were all like this episode.

Silica is such a sweet girl, I know that she looked at Kirito like he was her big brother but the amount of times she was blushing and so worried about her appearance I think maybe she was crushing a little as well. Feel like I'm missing something, he's leveling so fast and he's already way up at the high levels.. I mean I understand that years have gone by but I wonder were those years just unimportant?

I'm impressed by how Kirito chooses to be a soloist, yet makes it a point to help people in need. The guy also talks like a wise man. And, as probably being one of the, if not the highest leveled player in the game at the moment, has the skill and experience to back up his words.

That moment at the end with Silica touched me. Indeed, Kirito was like her very own big brother for just one day. After what happened in episode 3, I'm also relieved that this isn't the kind of show that kills off every newly-introduced supporting character in the same episode.

I can't believe that there's actually PvP in a life-or-death MMO like this. Just when you had to worry about getting slain by monsters, now one also has to worry about fellow players stabbing you in the back or setting up an ambush from out of nowhere.

Miracles and magic do exist. I have no regrets.
