I have spent quite a long time on watching anime shows, my favorite genres are romance, drama, comedy, slice of life. Except from that, sometimes I feel like watching action, horror, thriller or psychology for changing paces. I don't like mecha even though I can watch it, just because there are some mecha anime that worth watching.
I rate a show from my perspective, based on the entire series (plot, characters, artworks, sound) and the joy/excitement I've been through while watching it. From my point of view, there aren't rubbish anime, it is just the audience's taste that makes one special. Therefore, I only rate the show that I have completely finished(entire series, nevertheless, there are some exception).
I'm not an anime criticizer, I enjoy watching anime so please don't ask why there are lots of 8 in the list. That's just because they're enjoyable to watch.
Why put yourself through a lot of pain, unpleasant feelings to watch a show you don't even like just to give it a low score? It's crap!
For me:
10 - Masterpiece, of course, must be seen by everyone. Everything is nearly perfect, from the characters to the flow of story. I strongly recommend.
9 - Great anime, worth watching, but still, lacking of something to make it a masterpiece. Highly recommend.
8 - Good enough for me to sit and watch continuously. It has lots of positive aspect. ( decent story, pacing, music/artworks).
7 - Watchable anime, there are some enjoyable moments in the show.
6 - Above average, it has some elements to worth a try. - I'm gonna use Guilty Crown as an example. - Despite its horrible plot, the show still has music, artworks.
5 - Average show, nothing special, watch for killin' times. I won't suggest those show to anyone.
4 - Horrible show, but I still magically manage to finish. I don't even know the reason.
3 - Doesn't exist, why bother watching something tortures you?

Nah, I don't like it that much. It's just okay. I mostly watch it for the art style. Actually, I'm not very fond of this sort of anime.
Yeah, quite busy, hehe. Right now I should go back to write on one of my papers. I've got quite some papers to write this week and next week. No exams, just papers, haha. After that I'm free from all this work. Yays! :)

Not really, i tried Sword Art Online, although i liked the concept, potential, and fluid fight scenes, but it was lacking good pacing and story...seemed a bit rushed to me which overall made the show seem bland. But i am watching Attack on Titan. so far im loving it! But i saw a spoiler somewhere about it and i hope it doesnt ruin it for me ;(
But being pointed in the right direction and any suggestions would be much appreciated. Ty for your time for helping me out.
Ah, okay. Oh, yeah, right, I noticed right after I sent you my last message that it was gonna be a "remake", not another season. Hm, but I'm not so sure about that. Some people say remake and others say sequel (even MAL says sequel), but it's another studio doing it, so it's very likely it's gonna be a remake.
It's from the 19th century's British Victorian era, that kind of clothing, if I'm correct. It's also common in steampunk themed fiction works, and the Japanese "lolita fashion", also called gothic fashion, yep. But yeah, I like it, too; it's very beautiful! :)
That looks very nice. I'm looking forward to it. It seems like a deep and serious love drama thingy. I love those things! :D
Yeah, and I watched Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko., btw. It was okay, I guess. Not bad, but it feels way too cliché, and it also felt kinda rushed, yes, and to me everything seem pretty random. I can't get a real grip of everything that's happening. Too chaotic, haha. But I'll continue watching 'cause I like the art style, even though it's not as good as the original Kantoku style. :)
Ah, yeah, right! Actually, I think I noticed that when I first heard about that anime. But I guess I recently forgot about it and the art style felt reeeeeaaally familiar to me. xD
I still haven't watched it yet, but I'm gonna do that right now!
Hm, yes, I've conisdered reading the manga, but I was thinking it really would ruin the enjoyment and suspense watching the anime. It's one of those shows. I've done such a thing before 'cause I was too eager to wait till the next episode got out, hehe. But, it's a completely different thing if you've read the whole shit before the anime started airing or you're pretty far into the manga, imo. Doesn't feel the same while watching it in that situation. Anyway, yeah, this show looks pretty good in every aspect.

What did you think about it? I think it's great. S1 got an 8, S2 a 9 (best season, imo) and side-story an 8. You should watch Rozen Maiden: Ouvertüre (side-story), as well, if you aren't doing that already. Haha, and now I just noticed there's gonna be another season in July. Lovely! :D
Haha, tbh, I don't think I'd rate 'em that high if I watched 'em now. S2 probably isn't worth more than a 7-8 to me right now, but I remember I kind of loved it when I watched it a couple of years ago! :)
That'd be from the Blazblue game's OP, the characters name are Noel (one with guns) and Tsubaki. Sadly, it doesn't have a anime... even though it has enough material to be one.

Hahah, that was so deep! I love it! It's most likely NOT like that at all, haha, but if it was, it would be a very interesting psychological anime show. xD
Hehe, well, I think the art for Aku no Hana is okay, and I like it looking "realistic", but it would be more fitting if it was a seinen show. The only thing that I complain about is the bad animation, beisdes from that the art looks fine to me, even though it looks pretty sloppy every now and then (it doesn't look like they have edited it much after rotoscoping it). Aaaaand besides from the art and animation, looking at the story, it's interesting, but still more or less plain (besides from the Nakamura twist), at the moment. I've got high expectations for this show. :)

Oh, and the latest episode of Shingeki no Kyojin was fantastic (episode 4). I really didn't expect that outcome at the end of the episode, haha.
Yeah, Shingeki no Kyojin is definitely on of the better shows this season, if not the best. Dunno what more to add to it, other than it looking fantastic this far. Looking forward to it. :)
Hataraku Maou-sama! had a really great start. I laughed really hard while watching the pilot episode, hehe. The last episodes looked good, as well, so it's definitely one of my favourite shows this season.
Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge has an interesting plot, yeah, but I've only watched its first episode. I'll continue watching it, but I had thoughts about dropping it if it doesn't become any better after 3 episodes, 'cause it seemed like it could become so-so, or something, later on.
Yahari ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. looks nice. I actually wrote a recommendation for it (and Toradora!), 'cause they felt a bit similar.
I have yet to watch Suisei no Gargantia. The art looks great, but I had doubts on it before, until I saw it had a pretty nice score here on MAL. So, I'll pick it up as soon as I can! :)
Railgun S2 is a must-watch, haha, but I haven't watched it yet! xD
I prefer the Index series, btw, 'cause it is more serious than Railgun, haha. But I liked Railgun S1, too.
So, other than these shows that you mentioned, I'm probably just interested in Yuyushiki, a very nice slice of life show, similar to Yuru Yuri (hence 2 of the main VAs are the same in both shows), and Aku no Hana. Haha, but I kinda dislike the male protagonist in it 'cause he's so awkwardly shy... Other than that it looks very promising, to me. xD

Devil Survivor 2 has got potential, which I hope they'll live up to. I can't understand all this rage about Aku no Hana, haha, it's so naive, imo. You read the manga? I haven't, but I thought the show seemed very intertesting. Shingeki no Kyojin was just good, haha, one of my hypes this season, after watching a pv. :)
