Seems moderators got the same problem like folks. Anyway, one page is enough. They haven't approved yet? So that's why there are two entries for that at the moment. I don't think that http://myanimelist.net/anime/2209/V.G._Neo is a sequel of http://myanimelist.net/anime/1183/Variable_Geo They're just two titles based on the same universe (even the characters are completely different I think) |

From AIC's list of works: - Ebiten is a TV anime. - Acchi Kocchi and Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita have 12 episodes each. - Katayoku no Khronos Gear is a 1-episode OVA. - Justeen is a 1-episode OVA. There is more information it and Atranger (not in database yet) in this news brief. |

The problem is that in the Official site, the only announcement is the distribution of the series on Nico Nico Douga. So my guess is that either AIC list of works is not accurate or we are missing a new TV broadcast announcement. |

So my guess is that either AIC list of works is not accurate or we are missing a new TV broadcast announcement. Since I was the one who submitted that entry for Ebiten, I concur. The information that I had was that it only had Nico Nico Douga as the network it was on(I got that info from Fansub Wiki, and it seems the official site has that info). I assumed that like Upotte, Ebiten will likely have an ONA run before it has a TV run(and Upotte is still listed rightfully as an ONA). Since we're on the subject of Ebiten, could a moderator please add Hideki Okamoto as the director and Yuuko Kakihara as the series compositor. The iDOLM@STER Special (episode 26) will have a late night TV airing on June 16, effectively June 17. The 9th Blu-ray volume containing episodes 24-26 remains scheduled for release on June 28. This should be noted in the "More Info" section. Hanasaku Iroha website has moved to http://www.hanasakuiroha.jp/tv/. The main page now hosts information on the movie. Dog Days' needs a synonym "Dog Days 2". It is currently not searchable by that title. Ebiten's English title is Ebisugawa Public High School Astronomical(?) Club. Ebi Sugawa in the current title should probably be combined into Ebisugawa like this official translation. Note that the question mark is there because Tenmon is a pun. |

@kuchitsu: Changed to alternative setting, thanks. @endlessabyss: Mistakes are mistakes, even minor ones :) Fixed. @tsubasalover: Not bbcode related, just a mistake from us :) @arsonal, cat_clan & AbZeroNow: Ebiten stays as ONA for now, thanks for the heads up. @lanblade: I know this makes sense but is it an official synonym? We try to stick only to those. @nextday: Added, thanks. @Shih: I think we concluded that on was a typo/mistake and thus we didn't add it. But I guess we should... @AbZeroNow: Multiple people submitted jobs, so I just approved those. By the way, ANN is not a primary source, so I don't believe most of the things that they say. They're usually right but often wrong too, same as us. @arsonal: Fixed all. Thanks a lot everybody <3 |

Another OVA If it has not been done so yet, please set the airing status to finished airing. Please add the synonyms "Another 00" "Another: The Other -Inga-" and the English "Another: The Other", and change the Japanese to "アナザー The Other -因果-" Perhaps it may be better to use "Another: The Other -Inga-" as the entry name, but I will leave that up to your judgment. Thank you. Source: The DVD that arrived today, and the contents I just finished watching. arsonal said: Onii-chan no Koto nanka Zenzen Suki Janain Dakara ne!! needs the synonym Ochinko. "Ochinko" is a fan abbreviation. The official abbreviation is "Onisuki" (兄好). The official English title is "I don't like my big brother at all!!" Source: StarChild (English) Also, out of curiosity, what are the conventions behind janain dakara ne? It seems weird having janain split from dakara at least, because janain cannot function independently. I know it's a morph from janaino caused by the succeeding letter, but I would still find it awkward to have janain and dakara split. I also know there's a synonym without the split, but I'm just asking for future references. |

Rinne no Lagrange: Kamogawa Days has an official hybrid disc release date of August 23, which should be noted in the "More Info" section. It's the intermediary episode between seasons 1 and 2, and it should be noted as such in the relations. Romeo no Aoi Sora has a synonym that is the same as the current title. The synonym should instead be "Romio no Aoi Sora". Correct English capitalization convention would also require "The" in the English title to be lowercase. PES: Peace Eco Smile should have 7 episodes. This can be verified by visiting the official website, then clicking on "Animation" at the bottom, then clicking the left option that looks like a microphone, then clicking the glowing orange circle on the image. The first episode was released through YouTube on May 25. |

I'll just put a few edits that I hope are made soon(and I'll repost a request since it looks like it didn't get acted on): Binbou-gami ga! has its premiere date out. If someone who can read Japanese can decipher this on the official site: http://www.binbogamiga.net/world/#on_air I'd be glad. Fansub Wiki and Countdown list the premiere time as July 5th 1:50 A.M JST Also, the OP and ED info is on the official site of that too: http://www.binbogamiga.net/staff/ Hagure Yuusha no Estetica still needs an Ecchi genre tag. Also for Kono Naka ni Hitori Imouto ga Iru! , I have a problem with having Imouto in the English name for the series because Imouto is not an English word. Imouto can be easily translated to "little sister" or "younger sister" and both ANN and Crunchyroll News have used "One of Them is My Younger Sister!" as the English title. Example: http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2012/05/28/video-latest-one-of-them-is-my-younger-sister-anime-preview |

@Confucius: It seems somebody denied your character? In any case, the cat in Aria is in every episode, has entire subplot revolving around it and seems to influence the plot, a lot. Does Guvava do this? @arsonal & ap19: Added OniAi and Onisuki. @ap19: Fixed and changed the main title. That's quite the mouthful. As for janain dakara... idk, everybody else was doing it, I guess and janain is not a word so dakarajanain isn't a word or something. Janaindakara is better, you think? @cat_clan: Fixed, thanks. @arsonal: Fixed, edited and such. @nextday: R1 takes priority, R2 English titles are placeholders until things get licensed. Edited Kokoro Connect. @AbZeroNow: How do we know it's ecchi? It hasn't even aired yet and it's being adapted from a light novel, so... @alphzerg: Fixed. @ataraxial: Not quite the same, although you'd easily think that. Fate Zero is a split cour affair, Index 1 and 2 were separate seasons. 18 months passed between seasons 1 and 2 for Index, 3 for Fate/Zero. I think we can keep them in a single entry in this case. @ap19: Doubled the runtime too, I hope that's correct? @xxxholic_wing: Edited, thanks. @Confucius: The entire anime or just the beginning? But yeah, submit a new synopsis yourself, please :) @tsubasalover: Fixed, thank you. @kudere & tsubasalover: Approved one, denied the other. @Ricz: Only the first one has a "source" so I'm leaving the others alone and choosing to stick to the 18 month rule for those. @RenaPsychoKiller: Added SOL but Mnemosyne is hardly ecchi. Echhi is comedy, Mnemosyne is a mindfuck etc. @Psajdak: lol, fixed. Also removed the psychometrer synonym. @Feli-D, AbZeroNow, cat_clan, tsubasalover & llamaben: Edited only Sankarea, as the others seem unclear still. Thanks for the multiple heads up <3 @ap19 & nextday: That Touhou OVA 2 thing might not be approved into the DB. The original one was approved based on its VA cast being mostly (only?) professional VAs but this new one... Basically, we want to wait and see exactly what we're dealing with before deciding. @-Crys: I've argued about Haruhi not being a parody before but I'm beginning to think I'm wrong, so not changing. There are so many references in that show it's mind boggling, I seem to figure out new ones every few months. It may not strictly be a parody show but it's sort of a reference show and those two are basically the same when it comes to anime. Otherwise fixed. @llamaben: Edited, thanks. @ap19: Edited, thanks. @ShanaFanForever: Was already fixed. @nextday: Added Season. And no, I don't think it's intentional. I think it's "we don't know how English capitalisation rules work, so we'll just do whatever" or "the intern did it" or "all lower case looks cool". So unless the director calls me up and tells me that having season all lowercase really changes the meaning of the show, I'm keeping "Season" as is :) /rant. @Sae & cat_clan: Another case of oldMAL copying whatever ANN has and getting it wrong. Fixed. @AbZeroNow: Edits can take anywhere from 1 minute to 2 weeks to get through, depending on workload, laziness etc. But anyway, fixed. As for "Who is Imouto?", it's on the official site. |

As I stated before, I'm only commenting on this out of curiosity, and there's (probably) nothing that needs to be fixed. Concerning janaindakara, I only know about romanization conventions concerning names, and not about other phrases or clauses. I have no intuitive idea where spaces belong, because they simply don't exist in the Japanese language. According to the romanization guidelines, verb-endings stay attached to the verb while particles are separated. This does not specify the treatment of copulas such as "da" and "desu". On wikipedia's list of particles, there is no entry for "no dakara" or "dakara", but there is one for "no" and "no de" (I have no clue as to why "no" and "de" are separated). "no dakara" can be considered an alternative form of "no de" (the polite form would be "no desu kara"), so I guess it's not exactly wrong to write it as "janain dakara ne", where "janaino" is one verb-ending, "dakara" is a particle or separate word, and "ne" is another particle. If this was to be taken to the extreme, this "dakara" should be "da kara", because "janai"→"janai no"→"janai n' da" →"janai n' da kara"→"janai n' da kara ne". Disregarding semantics, "da kara" in this sense is grammatically different from the "dakara" found in the beginning of sentences, because "janai n da kara" can be replaced grammatically by "janai kara". However, I believe "janaino" "janainda" "janaindakara" "janaindakarane" should all be considered verb-endings rather than particles, as it is so in other examples like "dattebayo", which should be written as "da tteba yo" following the above rules. tl;dr There's no problem as long as every user can find the entry they're looking for, but it's interesting how inconsistent their intuitive search words are to the extent these romanizations can't be defined systematically. Also, thank you for doubling the runtimes for Daimahou Touge. |
