| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Showing Perfect Crime Club in detail, and the editor didn't like it at first, but saw new kinds of comedy and liked it. Interesting~ especially the female character is like Azuki. He even told them to do ahead. The pre-assistant is also creating new one. He said he's not going to put his for the pair. Editors are worried about the pair. And everyone knows the pair's destiny now. The pre-assistant checked and agreed about the editor said. Christmas and Saikou celebrating with the couple. Azuki secretly made a cake for Saikou, too. The pair are keep making the manga even if they cannot do it in Jack. During the meeting, one of the editors is thinking about the copying (the danger of the crime), but other than that, they like it. Editor-in-chief liked it, but denied (because not winning Niizuma's manga). Everyone's worried about winning now (it's good, but not "winning"). They discussed for a long time for that, and going to vote at the end. Final decision goes to editor-in-chief, who voted for no. |

| Another Azuki-based female character. I think Miyoshi has done so much for them, they should draw a character just like her... I feel she deserves a lot but she's never thanked enough. |
| I know, but there was a character just like Takagi (Hitman TEN, I think). I'm not saying "Miyoshi" should be the main female character, but they should at least pay her a tribute. |

| When your editorial staff splits three-three on whether it will beat Nizuma, and everyone agrees it is good, I think you vote to let it proceed. What are you going to do now, approve a lesser submission to be serialized because it only has to be good--not better than your two most popular manga? Of course if the subbers were faster we might have the answer in two days rather than another week. (I'll accept that this was a pretty dialogue heavy episode, but still.....). |

So i have my fingers crossed for that :P |

| Seriously, WTF is wrong with the Chief Editor? They did all they could to improve their non-enough points and they also added something brand new: seriousness & comedy mixed together. I wonder how the season finale will be. |
| The only thing I can say is - anime staff are bastards. ^^ I liked the way they presented PCP. Always nice to see sketchy drawings getting dubbed, lol. 4/5 for me. |

| The criticism from the lead editor was abit harsh. How can they judge a manga's potential with a majority vote like this? It would just lead to people voting based on personal preference. I'm surprised more people didn't vote for them to win simply to see how the manga would do serialised. It isn't something they should want their competitors to have if Ashirogi decided to work for another company unless there is something in their contract restricting them from using works submitted to Jack. |
| One thing I love about Bakuman is that it's realistic. Ashirogi 'fails' a lot, sure, but that makes it more interesting. If they got what they wanted all the time, the story would get boring. |
