In case you missed it, some obvious things from previous episodes.
-Yuta and Rabura were meeting Yuta's sister, Akina off at the airport then the bus was suddenly hijacked.
-Akina was streaming her life live 24/7 before in her room and then decides to go abroad.
-Teraoka whispered something to Yuta when they fell.
-Two unknown little girls wearing hospital gowns pull Yuta from the water.
-Strange Juice has an upside down "G/6/9(Q)" engraved on the back of her neck.
-Pumpkin Chair, Strange Juice and Teraoka have accessories with similiar flower symbols.
-Ito was disowned by her father which is a member of the Metropolitan Assembly’s Education Committee.
-There is another character who shares the same name as Yuta and calls Ito's phone.
-The New Year Massacre Victim list only include 17 year olds. (Ever17?)
-Ito will be killed on the New Year, before the asteroid, VR-1 destroys Earth on December 31.
-NASA developed Cheermancy to cure suffering.
-Kamenishi the turtle can see ghost Yuta.
-Q May terrorist group's logo is a turtle.
-Mikatan has a phobia for turtles.
-The bear, Muhi is immortal.
-Ghost cat, Chiranosuke is omniscient and is not trusthworthy.
-Yuta "loses" days. (Probably lots of things have happened that we haven't seen onscreen yet like maybe the book was obtained because we literally only see things in his perspective,idk.)
-You now realize Strange Juice calls Pumpkin Chair, Meikaemon (Doraemon reference) because she is a robot and has fancy gadgets. (Her name is Daihatsu Meika which is pun for "great inventor" and "Meika" sounds like "mecha" or "maker").
-The refrigerator that Meika inherited from her grandfather must be important. (Can it also produce green jelly bananas..?)


I can't believe I'm analyzing a show about panties.

So... there are 5 possible people that could be Yuta;
Daihatsu Tenga (Famous dead inventor)
Miyazawa Kenji (Weird henshin hero)
Tsobouchi Qmay (Leader of the terrorist group)
Teroaka (Mastermind of the bus hijacking)
Ito's teacher
Akina (Yuta's sister)

Whoever spirit it is that's possessing Yuta's body, is only locking himself inside his own room and I have a this feeling that he has amnesia that's why he isn't doing anything. It is also possible that ghost Yuta we see now is not the real Yuta. Who is that really? Creepy.

Also, I was skimming through the episodes and saw this. Holy shit.



Haha, it is as if they purposely overload panties and other absurd things right infront of our faces just to solely to distract us from the actual plot. Similar to how Yuta, (represents us, the viewer) whether he likes it or not, needs to avoid them in order to prevent the world from destruction. ??? Also, the fact that it's titled Punchline, and it expects us to be comedy, may leave us with a big not-so-funny end. 2Deep4me


Other observations

When the mages logo pops up there are exactly 8 doors plus 1 final door so, 9 doors...?


Meika had that Cheermancy DVD even on the time when her grandpa was still alive, and practiced it after almost 20 years..? (Thats some dedication). And when Meika finally tries it on Rabura for the first time and make her laugh, they get into an argument instead. Meika even questions why she got pissed (well she is a robot maybe she doesn't understand emotions that much) and thats kind of ... sad.



Rabura has a "Necromancy for Beginners" book so she can probably channel the dead soon if she practices. (Even Meika a robot who isn't programmed to do handstands learned it through studying and hardwork, why can't she?)


There's a sketch plan of a turtle in the opening, maybe Kamenishi the turtle is a robot built to spy.

In episode 1, Rabura could hear Yuta so I wonder what's preventing her from fully sensing ghosts (the turtle perhaps?)


The flower that Yuta is sitting on in the opening might be important, the spirit medium's room has the exact same flower.
