| This was basically Lupin x Cowboy Bebop x something else I can't pinpoint, and I absolutely love it. Honestly I'd even go so far to say this is one of the best first episodes I've seen in a while, especially with that ending lmao The fanservice didn't bother me at all, but that may be the Lupin factor I'm feelin |

| One thought that popped into my head during the episode; it would be hilarious, and actually fitting, if Dandy is fighting or always running away from the flame head guy the entire series and has no idea. Priceless. It's hard to tell what this series will do at this point though |

| Well it wasn't that good as expected. When the boobies came up my mom came in and started watching it. Thanks for making it awkward for me Toonami... Well I really have no reason watching Toonami now since I've seen everything else but I might stay for Naruto Shippuden. Even though I have it on DVD. |
| Unless you have one of those cable boxes that shows what you're watching your view really doesn't count. I'll be watching this in English since I like the voice actors. I usually watch subbed shows, but when it's something that really benefits from understanding different accents I prefer the dub (black lagoon, cowboy bebop). This is going to be a great show with a blend of comedy and seriousness. Let's not forget how funny yet serious/badass Samurai Champloo was and that's from the same creator |

Opako said: First half of the episode was pretty bland. It did get pretty interesting half-way through. The random info dumps by the presumed 'bad-guys' were off-kilter though. Something about an element and then the Dandy crew is ripping a whole in the fabric of time. What's more the ending to the first episode was on par with Fooly Cooly levels of wackiness; not that that's a bad thing. So I'm left here wondering if the second episode starts with a 'universe re-start' button or if we're meant to just shrug and go on. The thing this show does have going for it - I will say, the cleverly folded in pop culture references & the blatant ones ~infinity & beyond ~ really, ... I bet you've already gotten that phone call from Disney. Either way, I'm willing to give this anime five episodes to either ratchet up the zaniness and embrace being wacky or start down the path to having a plot. Either way, it needs to make up it's mind right quick. Why are you taking it so fkn seriously???? Its a fkn comedy anime chill your tits and enjoy it. |

| The worst is the people who give actual reviews (that show up in the reviews section) of animes early on... please gtfo. On a side note for some of you seeing a lack of substance, how about you embrace the wonderful imagination going on? Holy smokes is it going on too! SOOO many different aliens just in the first episode! Maybe we will find out about a lot of them, maybe we won't, but it sure is fucking cool. |

| This anime will be a very love/hate anime unless it goes somewhat serious from now on, but from the preview I'm having a hard time seeing that happening. While I sorta wish it was more Bebop like, I don't mind it being the wacky way it is. |

| 12 mins in and absolutely love it. All the characters fit well, but the robot girl is a bit annoying w/ some autotune on her, though, that won't stop me from watching dub over sub; definitely picking the dub up and downloading sub as a secondary option. |

| I watched with a bunch of friends, we were enjoying the first half relatively well then loved the 2nd half, we were laughing at the idea of them actually ending the episode with everyone dying and it being the end with nothing after the credits then they actually did that which pretty much confirms im going to love this show my god the creativity in everything during the 2nd half was astonishing, from the animation that was a treat to watch to the colorful imagery to just how many freaking aliens they came up with in 1 single 10 minute section, just man i hope the series can top a section like that. Also its got my even more excited for whats coming since almost all the preview footage was just from episode 1 I just hope to god the 26 episodes is correct because if so then the first half of 2014 is going to be a enjoyable time every saturday |

I'm pretty sure it's only 13 episodes. It's listed as 13 on Funimation's website plus I remember reading somewhere that the writer confirmed it was 13 episodes. Who knows, though? |
