I loved the anime series and when I first started the manga I figured I would wait till it was over and put it on-hold. Guess it's time to start reading.

Time to read, I guess. Didn't like the anime much, but maybe the manga could be better, like 99% of the case out there.

"What!??" is what I wanna say.

But judging from the recent chapters. It's natural it would end soon.
It's been really fun reading it.

Loved the series, I'm sad to see it go but it was obvious they were dragging it out. At least it's not like Naruto where the same final battle lasts over 100 chapters

Did the anime stay true to the manga? Not that I remember it 100% since it has been so long.. but I think I would want to start the manga where the anime left off

Judging from manga fans reactions, it seems like they butchered the anime adaptation pretty hard. Dunno if it's true or not.

It's painfully true. I'd say the anime pursued a harem ecchi route compared to the manga's shounen style fighting and character development.

Until I read the final chapter of 'Season 2' manga this announcement really doesn't mean much to me. 'Season 3' still sounds like a major possibility which brings up the question of how senior year and graduation would be like in the monster school. Even though the main characters are already godly powerful maybe season 3 would make more room for drama, romance and of course harem instead of the action that the main characters have already annihilated.

OMG, noooooooo! D: The manga is getting to the best part ever! The anime just pales in comparison to it.

Anyways, gotta put this manga series up as high priority.

Maybe in the future? Hmm..

Anyways, I've been a fan of this for awhile so it's sad to see it go. Oh well..it was only matter of time I suppose.

I hope R+V II ends well its my favorite manga anyway.
I guess a season 3 would show their 3rd year of high school life. We definitely need a Season 3 after this.

Loved the anime and the manga. Had some really lovable characters (MIZORE CHAN) hope the ending does the series justice.

FUCK, FUCK, FUCK!!!

I knew it was coming but I simply didn't want to believe the end was near.

I've been a die hard fan of the R+V manga.

This is literally my ALL TIME favorite manga and I can't believe it's almost over.

And BTW, Sora no Otoshimono is also ending....next month....It hasn't been announced here yet, but it was in ANN.

That was another Top 10 manga in my list.

Fuck...2014 isn't even here and I already hate it.

I highly doubt it.

Season II was the very highest this manga can reach IMHO, doing any more would just be milking it the way the retarded "big 3" have milked their series.

The only reason there even was a "season II" was because the magazine the original R+V was serialized in came to an end and they moved it to Jump Square.

The mangaka just decided to end the original and start it up again immediately.

I think the way it's ending is going to be good (I HOPE!).

I'm just really scared about the epilogue (if Ikeda decide's to make one).

One possibility might be a spin-off.....but I have no idea of who and how.

Too bad it's gonna end with SnO too T_T

For people who haven't read it. Get ur asses to it now!!! Don't even compare the anime to the manga. R+V II isn't even an ecchi manga anymore. It's just a pile of epicness and amazing art with a BA main character. Yes Tsukune is BA Hmph.

^it's like you're actively trying to cause a flame war (talking to the Nietzsche fan of course).

The anime was utter shit, indeed. But once I got to the manga, I changed my opinion of the whole franchise. It's been quite the entertaining read so far, and while I'm sad that it's coming to an end, it's best to stop while the story's still good. The manga deserves a dignified ending.

my first try on the first episode of the anime, too much service. gave it a chance to see the actors for the girls (Mizore), and its a shame it didn't follow the manga's storyline. im still watching it to finish it. welp, im glad I stuck with reading the manga chapters and caught up. can't wait for next month's chapter!

I discovered the manga before I discovered the anime. The anime was so disappointing, it did not even use half of the awesome-level story of the manga. :/
And now, Season II is ending and this is to end the story for good, I guess. I will surely miss the characters. Can't wait for the next work of Ikeda-sensei.

A ending in just two chapters isn't much, isn't?
I want a third season too because there are a lot of questions and the main goal of Tsukune left. And don't forget about the prophecy of the snow queen.

Not that I could think of. I would never miss somthing as important as that.

Anyways who want anime to be remaked now? They need to do the justice to the character especialy Kurumu.

Though it was only mediocre for me in rating it's not bad.

The Art of Shipping is no mere game. It can be small skirmishes to huge nation size wars.
Of course some will claim their ship is the BATTLESHIP but they all do. This is why battles occur because of factions fighting each other to justify their favourite ship.
And thus SHIP to SHIP combat occurs almost anytime even now.
Beware, Threading into the Shipping battlefield will be bloody.... What are you waiting for?

Oh. Just stared to reading the manga, and already finished first season..
I was surprised, because I thought about it as a stupid ecchi earlier, but it was really good!
And as I started to reading, they will finish the manga! Ugh, so sad. ><
Hoped to read it for long time, not only.. errr, 2 months? XD
Anyway, looking forward to ending, I'm really interesting how it will be. :"D
