| Good start,lived up to my expectations. I like the male lead,not sure how I feel about the girl yet.The one that saved them from that youmu in the classroom had the biggest impression on me so far,even with such a short appearance. |

| I really love KyoAni's work. This isn't an exception. The OP was good, but it was not the best. The ED though really struck me, and I really like how it is realized. Mirai is cute, being shy, clumsy and all (and I really love her hairstyle btw) and I like Akihito's personnality so far. What I don't like though is when animes are throwing things to your face and you should take it as obvious (the whole spirit thing.), but I guess it'll either be explained or I'll have to be used to it n.n Great first episode. Excited about the rest! |

| Now that was enjoyable. I'm liking the "moe-moe" "kinda-serious" mix they have going so far. Hopefully they can keep it at that same balance throughout the entire series. As expected, we're already seeing the herd of folks who expected some super dark, no nonsense serious story when the previews should have all but dispersed the notion of that possibility. It is a KyoAni show though, so what else should I have expected? People to actually watch the show for what it is and not trash it for what it was never trying to be? Heh, as if. | How many liters of blood can she probably draw out every episode? I'd say given the transformation of her blood to a sword, it would make sense that it'll draw a considerable amount of it. Also, her clumsiness, I can only hope it's not connected to her drawing out too much blood...That is, if she's probably anemic or something. XD |

| Somehow this anime have simillar to Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai, I don't know this because KyoAni, or because Akihito have a similar approach to Mirai like Yuuta have to Rikka, and this whole 'supernatural' moments, but unlike chuu2koi, KnK character actually have super powers xD |

| I like the voice of the MC, he seems to be a new VA. I liked this, it had a good start, I thought the MC would be annoying but I actually like him the most so far, he is my type of MC. I wonder if this will become darker. Finally Kyo ani using it's high budget on something that requires great fluid animation. The character design looks a bit generic but still better than Hyouka, K-on's design imo. 4/5. |

| Great start, I'm really looking forward to the next episode. I really like Akihito so far, but I'm mostly looking forward to the introduction of Hiroomi tbh. THE ED THOUGH. AHHHH. It was lovely. |

GX. The episode wasn't that bad to be honest. It seems like a Chuu2 copy though. Mirai is like a Rikka clone. At least we aren't dealing with chuunibyous this time, but actual demon hunters. Looking forward to the next episode. The only thing I didn't like were it's characters, too generic. If they focused on the story, it may turn out good. | That was a great first episode imo. Has a nice premise to it, though it might take some time to adjust to the fantasy aspect of this show. The comedy was a hit sometimes, but other times just skimmed past me, though overall had me laughing or at least smiling. ^^ The next episode looks awesome, though i just feel for when the bill will come for her apartment... If she barely can afford to pay for her monthly aparrtment, let alone her bento-dinner... |
| it's definitely anime worth watching. I really liked main heroine. I love to watch this type. Animation and music are also great. It's Kyoto Animation after all. In this season this is the only serie that they are making. I just hope that it continue to be great and story don't go in weird direction. |

I'm guessing Mirai had decided to stab him out of the blue was because she could sense the youmou inside him, being half youmou and all. This is also shown in the middle of the episode, when regular students couldn't see the youmou running from Shizuku and in the end when Mirai was trying to track the youmou in her room with Akihito. Just a theory though. |

| I'm loving this so far. That first part, "Stab!" I was vaguely reminded of Lancer stabbing Shirou because red sword and Gae Bolg, lol. XD I wonder she doesn't get anemia or something using her blood as a weapon. Animation's good, OST's pretty awesome, really looking forward to episode 2. |

| Some lines explaining the supernatural background of the characters felt really forced and the character interactions were mostly by-the-book. I really do like the animation and the visual direction, though, and hope the cast will develope to a point where they aren't defined solely by their gimmicks anymore. |

| It's my first time seeing this type of artwork and animation which is the same type as Free!, Hyouka, and Robotics;Notes associated with a supernatural theme. And it looks lie the family thats in charge or whatever put that Youmu in her room. By the way does anybody know what a Youmu is? I googled it but I couldn't get a straight answer . |
| I think it started out too random and disjointed, hanging plotpoints in thin air and focusing too much on random quirks, but in the end it got some of it's act together and I think it may yet live up to the awesomeness of it's first trailer. Except the art of course. It was top notch throughout. |

| Super convoluted and typical LN plot all detailed through awkward expository dialogue. Shit characters defined solely by quirks. Lurching, uncertain pacing. This is a bad show. BUT it's super pretty and has some really well-animated action scenes so I'm probably going to keep watching it and hating myself for it each week. Yatta! |

| Very good animation and pretty music, but seems boring storywise and characters were horribly uninteresting. I'm rather disappointed, I was actually expecting something better. Well... that's what I get for expecting something big from KyoAni. Anyway, the next episode seems to be much more interesting, so I'll keep watching. | I hope I'm not the only one who's already in love with this anime. xD I think because I never watched the PV's, I didn't know what to expect... but I didn't find it uninteresting at all! The animation, soundtrack, opening and ending songs are all on point, imho. I love that even though there's some comedy, there's also a sense of seriousness that puts you on edge. I can't wait to watch the story progress. I feel like in romance aspects, it might be similar to Hyouka where it's not really shown but rather implied. It's the simplest things that make this anime AMAZING. (And it's only the first episode!) Let's hope the rest of the series keeps it up. I have a feeling it will. :D |
| I have mixed feelings. Really good OP/ED, animation, direction and music. Bland characters, lame comedy and strange execution. I found Mirai too similar to all those other airheads from KyoAni like Fuko, or Rikka. And the blonde guy was like Tomoya or Oreki but a bit more outgoing. The black haired girl and her brother are interesting though. I can't wait to hear Tatsun voice the cute scarf brother. LOL I don't particularly like how they executed the story. The first few seconds, he tries to save her from suicide. After the OP, it skips directly to a school night and they already had a lot of stuff happen in between like them telling each other who they were, etc. -Quasar said: Just expected too much so it's slightly disappointing but I can see the potential. | There are only two good points in this episode; first , as expected, the quality of animation for a tv series is godly.Second, OST is also top notch. Anything else is mediocre. I'll be looking forward to this series for the next coming weeks, KyoAni, don't let me down. |

| Good episode Top notch animation, great ost, interesting premise. I expected more, but it can't be helped since it's just the introduction and only touched the surface of the story But the execution felt a bit weird, same with Hyouka first ep which later became natural |
