| I guess this show doesn't know how to hold back on the plot twists, they just kept coming one after the other right to the very end. This conclusion has left me with nothing but questions and a slightly longer jaw. As a whole this series was the biggest surprise of the season for me. What I thought was going to be a mediocre card game turned out to be a mediocre card game...oh and an engaging story wrapped in mystery, endearing characters who pulled me into caring about their struggle, and an emotional roller coaster that kept me thinking "no way, it can't get any worse than tha--oh...oh it got worse. But it's not like it can get any mor--OH NO WAY, IT JUST GOT WORSE!" Initially I was disappointed that the card game was never properly explained, but the matches were never meant to be the central focus and I feel it did a good job at forwarding the story with the conditions that came with WIXOSS as well as fleshing out the characters through their victories and losses. Had my sights set on giving this an 8/10 up until the last episode. Now a 9/10 sounds more likely. |

| It's ok, the ending wasn't shitty or something, not very decisive either, but it's really ok when the follow-up is confirmed. Now that Iona is Ru's LRIG, this anime has even more potential. |

| Gorgeous episode. Since the second season has already been confirmed and is very close i didn't care about the open end. In the previous episode I was worried about how it would develop to the end and would have room for an entire new season, I was highly satisfied. Iona is crazy and now i don't know how Ru will fulfill her wish, since I doubt very much that Iona will agree to end the game. Since the last episode Akira didn't appear, I wonder what she's up to, i can see Tama being herLRIG, that'd be crazy. |

| Damn! So much happened... -Iona's wish gets granted. -Ulith is now in Iona's body -Tama is gone who knows where -Iona replaces Tama as Ru's LRIG WHAT? I don't even... Also, We never found out what Iona's wish was.... To become Ru's LRIG perhaps? Season 2 will be interesting is all I can say. |

| Finally felt the need to register and post on this site! After that ending, whoah...... MINDBLOWN + JAWDROP + DAZED for about 10 minutes The villain wins, and heroes feel the despair! I probably felt the same after Yagami Light kills off L in Death Note manga. Funny how Iona's so possessive "..MY Kominato Ruko". And she already starts calling her "Ru" even before she's her LRIG! |

| The interesting thing is, I'm not 100% sure it was actually Mayu and not an effect of Ulith's attack, seeing how Iona and Ulith had been manipulating Ruuko and Tama into this for the whole time. I guess the second season will finally show us what's really going on here. |

Aki-lucky will still want to crush Iona though so she will probably want to make RU lose so Iona's wish is taken away if anything. Hm, but it's possible that Akira is holding a grudge against Tama (for beating her), but on the other hand Akira knows how strong Tama is and if she stills wants to crush Iona, Aki-lucky will probably be glad she ended up with Tama. Akira and Tama vs. Ruuko and Iona seems pretty interesting to be honest. Akira wants to beat Iona at any price and Tama might be reluctant to battle Ruuko. Also someone asked before, Eldora is a blue LRIG. Speaking of LRIGs  You see the red and green symbols in the bottom left corner, that's the grow cost, meaning that Hitoe is probably using a combination of her green deck with some of the red, more aggressive cards mixed in. That's quite interesting gameplay-wise, don't you think? Btw, I really want to read Chiyori's manual, that thing would probably explain SO much stuff. |

| Holy crap, that ending O_O So first of all Tama and Maya ... I just noticed they kinda have similar earrings :O I'm guessing they were previously a Selector/LRIG pair maybe? That's why Maya doesn't want her to fulfill Ruu's wish? Hmm ... Well, it didn't work anyway. Man, that surprised me. Then Iona's wish got fulfilled ... I'm guessing it was to "battle forever with Ruuko" or something and that's why she got replaced Tama as her LRIG. I guess her calling Ruuko "Ruu" was a hint :P Iona/Ulith got kind of creepy at the end D: Surprised that Midoriko is still there ... so Tama will probably still be kicking around too. Ah well, second season incoming for the fall - that was fast! :O Overall I actually really enjoyed this! It was a lot better than I expected. Pretty vast range of characters and I quite liked the animation too (but it got wonky sometimes). Also the music was pretty fitting :3 Glad I picked this up ... not to mention it got intense and was definitely marathon-able XD Can't wait to see where this plot goes! 8/10 |
| Interesting ending, I feel like Ru's voice actor isn't expressing emotions as well as I hoped. :( They pulled off a nice hook to reel us in for the 2nd season. I have a hunch Grandma is either: 1. Maker of the game, can control mayu or even maybe Mayu's selector? Makes sense because in Grandmas perspective she wants to always stay with Ru which could be why Mayu suddenly just tricked Tama. 2. If not 1, could become a selector with Tama cause they both want to stay with Ru, conflict conflicts everywhere! Can't wait for next season. :D |

| I enjoyed the series enough to go onto season 2. Surprisingly, I feel we could have had a little more card game action even if they were trying to be clever in subverting the action scenes. The slow burn of the series had it's good moments where it really worked and other times it was frustrating and the music was great. Overall 7/10 |

| That was a pretty intense way to end the season. Iona's wish was a bit of a surprise to me but definitely makes sense now. The condition that needed to happen was apparently Tama being a dummy! Spread is the next season. As someone said earlier, the selector realm may be spreading to the real world hence all of the selectors going "its happening" etc. From the sounds of it, it sounds like everyone is fucked. Hoping the second season ends with disaster for everyone. Best part of the second season preview? I SAW AKI-LUCKY, SHES GONNA RETURN |
| If Iona's wish was to become Ruu's LRIG, then what did Urisu have to do in order to make that wish come true? What will Urisu do in Iona's body? I think it was pretty BS that Iona's became Ruu's LRIG. If I think about it, Iona kicked out Tama and became Ruu's LRIG, but then were does Tama go? Does she go to another Selector? What IS Tama? I was hoping to see her do some forbidden moves or something like we saw in to opening. The barrier that protects the battles from the real world broke, so therefore they are fighting in the real-world with real would consequences as it what happens on the battlefield. Ahh... Hitoe's original LRIG, I always wonder, is it a he or a she? Because if it's a he then... that means boys can play the game... but they's no Selectors that are boys... tl;dr - Mindf*ck, nothing gets resolved, but just opens more questions. |
| I believe that unless you know for sure that you don't like a concept, you should keep exploring it. Whether it be characteristics of people or a genre of some sort, you never know if you don't like it until you've seen quality work corresponding to that genre. Keep exploring until you've found something you enjoy, or something of quality. Then you know what's bad, what's good, and what isn't for you. ( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑ Everyday life. |

| Oh you WHAT. Oh well, see ya this fall, for more of those card game battle I enjoy but do not understand. But honestly, who gives a crap of the rules at this point (I actually read the rules out of curiosity). It turned out alot more interesting than I thought at first, and really hyped up for the second cour. I got the "Madoka" vibe out of this, plot twist and weird rules/universe. It's the first split-cour I actually watch while airing AND really enjoy, so now I feel the pain. very much So a overall good series with a great potential I feel. Last couple episode left me with a great impression. I actually have some high expectation for the second cour. |

| a show with some surprising twists. also i like the seiyuus voices somehow and the background art is great. some things are still stupid or rushed, but its a fantasy show for girls, so its okay if some things are not that logical. =p i would give this part of the series a 0,81. but i doubt, the second part will be better, because many mystical things about this show and game and whatnot are solved. i mean, at the beginning of this show i was mostly in the dark about many things and that was kinda exciting. but now i know quiet alot about this WIXOSS world and connections between the characters so there are not so many things left that could surprise me. i bet i will rate the second season slightly below 0,8, maybe 0,78 or so. ^^ well, we will see. xD |

| The potential is strong in this series. You just knew that the white lady in the LRIG realm wouldn't go down without a fight. What better way than to mess with Tama's head to prevent the LRIG world from collapsing? You gotta think about this, it's a defense mechanism, the white lady is using underhanded tactics yes, but she's doing it for her own survival in this universe, you can't really fault her for that. But then that plot twist! Iona becoming Ruuko's LRIG. Woah. Do you know what that means? Ruuko wil never get her wish granted by Iona, and thus she'll be forced to battle forever until she loses (which would taint her wish) or until Iona becomes bored with Ruuko (which I can't see happening). Either way, Ruuko's wish has just gone down the drain. Now what they need is to force another Selector to wish for Ruuko's wish and then have that Selector to beat the crap out of everyone. Either way, it's not gonna be pretty to watch. Oh the despair and hopelessness this series brings! ::rubs hands in glee:: I was skeptical when this show first came out (not a fan of card games, nor all girl casts) but now Autumn can't come soon enough! |
