Sometimes, you just want to see cute characters suffer.
I think I got a good amount of anime here. So, I'm closing suggestions for the stack unless the anime is from the Summer 2023 season or newer. If you have an anime that fits that, send me a message and I'll check it out.

Not all animes are full of love or make you happy. But there are animes will make you feel excite, thrilled, and feel the adrenaline rush. Who wouldn't like action stories? Action shows can be always exciting, especially when it comes to anime. These are my recommendations and collection for action animes.

Here is my list of highly rated hidden gems that deserve more attention!!
They either have unique stories, beautiful animation, and/or intriguing characters yet they're barely known (400k and less)

Essential anime for maid enthusiasts.
They are anime that are more maid-focused rather than just including maids in general.
I have roughly ordered them by how good I think they are maid-wise.

Just stated... this is a list of Anime shows with an all or almost all-female or the main characters are ladies Anime shows.

Anime that great and not popular enough

This is a weird concept for a list, but I think it's worth putting it out there. These are anime which I consider help understand anime better because of their referential humour, commentary on otaku culture (whether it's anime or gaming), exploration of the industry and twisting of classic tropes in self-aware ways that put them in perspective. Also included a couple shows which are not necessarily meta or referential, but they are here for being aggresively "anime" in nature, if that makes sense. With how over the top they are and/or how stereotypically otaku their concepts are, I think they give a good idea of how anime has developed.

Note: If you truly want to understand otaku culture and anime history, I think an absolute essential is a short show called "Blue Blazers". It is live action however, so it can't be added here. I strongly recommend you check it out, even if the humour can be cringy, because of how deep of an insight it gives into the history of anime and the industry.

In this list, I tried to collect as many shows as possible that are dedicated to the deconstruction of certain genres, plot themes or various characters. Therefore, there are both tragedies like Madoka and Eva, and parodies like KonoSuba or Kaguya.

This stack is dedicated to shows that either have a gyaru lead, main cast characters or at least as a very important supporting character. Starting from bright representatives of the archetype and ending with simply realistic stylish gyaru girls.

Anime with visually appealing and unique art style and animation that make them stand out as "eye candy." Their vibrant and colorful aesthetics are just as charming as actual sweets too!
