Sugisaki Ken, through diligence and academic excellence, had successfully entered the paradise that is the Hekiyou Private Academy's Student Council. There, he boldly embarks on his plan to create his personal harem with the 4 girls who are the other council members, namely: The incredibly youthful president Sakurano Kurimu; The cool and kindly yet super-sadistic secretary Akaba Chizuru; Tomboyish and hot-blooded vice-president Shiina Minatsu; and The ephemerally beautiful yet complicated treasurer Shiina Mafuyu. While every day since then has been non-stop fun, Graduation Day now looms near. Could this spell the end of their carefree days?

The first season of Seitokai no Ichizon is my favorite anime of all time. The second season is decisively not as consistently powerful as the first, but still has some great moments. It's more of the same: a surprising amount of character development, some dramatic moments, and of course, comedy.

The main complaint you hear coming into this show is the change in voice actors. I'd be lying if I said it didn't bother me, but it is still making mountains out of molehills. Mafuyu's new voice was similar enough that I just now had to look her up to double-check that her voice actor had read more

Now that things are warmed up for Ken, Seitokai no Ichizon returns, now as romantic comedy. Focusing less about parodies and much more onto Sugisaki's relationship with all other members, this second season brings some deeper moments and an overall development regarding our male protagonist's attitude.

{STORY - 6/10}

Regular activities from the council keep going on and new situations occur even outside it. Ken's past has a special focus, as both his sister and childhood friend are now introduced and get the chance to have some "screen time".

After one year as a council's member, it's expected that Ken had progress on his dream of having his read more

Seikotai no Ichizon Lv 2: A Closing Chapter On 5 Amazing Characters

I will come out and say as someone that's watched both seasons that Seikotai no Ichizon had the most interestingly diverse lead cast of characters. From the beginning stretching back to the first season, it was a fun ride seeing their adventures over these past two seasons. You had Ken the hopeless harem junkie Vice President, Kurimu the childish Student Council President, Chizuru the dark and sadistic Secretary, Minatsu the athletic and ambitious VP, and her BL video game loving sister Mafuyu the Treasurer. You throw these five together and you have a half-hour read more

I have to talk about the original series first so that I can tell you why I, unfortunately, found its sequel to be a disappointment. Because the show doesn’t have a much of a plot (and this is okay if you can pull it off like this anime did) it relied on its comedy and character dynamics to entertain you and it really worked in Seitokai no Ichizon.

It was hilarious and also heart warming to see these characters’ friendships grow and, honestly, it made me think about how much my own friends mean to me. The show focuses on not only the bliss you feel read more

It has the same kind of guy with 4 girls in a room, where anything funny can happen, except that Inou-Battle has a bit of supernatural in it, while Seitokai is purely comedy. Though the girls may be very similar in both anime, there are some modifications with each of the girls. Anyway, just watch and make your own conclusion.

Both were sequels of their parent anime.

Both involve one guy who is a member of the school's student council where the rest of the members are female.

Both have the same school, harem and comedy genre.

The guy is one anime is just simple guy who got drafted to the student council, while the guy in the other anime was the one who came to the student council.

One anime was more into comedy romance, while the other is more into comedy but with a lot of sexual innuendos.

Thought both anime have  read more

There is no real plot to either of them just a bunch of funny stories and jokes, Seitokai Yakuindomo though has dirty humor mostly both are great and similar good to watch.

Both are harem series where the main guy is on the receiving end of comedic mistreatings.
