hello,sorry for my late response,i havent logged in here since forever,now to answer your question...i honestly dont remember ... i usually watch anime on gogoanime or anime freak or kissanime(that was in the past)...im not sure i even watched that episode haha i just remember that i have watched everything that has to do with the gintama series so i was putting it on my list,but maybe i have missed that one.sorry again for the late reply.

Nope, I don't have any problems with the pacing.

first part of Gintama is a bit weak, thats true even for the most die hard fan of Gintama , there is no single arc in first 40 or so and there is no single serious arc in first 60 episodes or so. even the most die hard fan pushed through a lot of earlier episodes and then started to enjoy the show at some point. Some people get to like it after ep50,some 80 some even 140 , but one thing is true, the quality increase episode by episode,and there is a reason its one of the highest rated show of all time. And one thing make people turned off watching Gintama is wrong expectation. Gintama has plot , but its hard to see, it will become more and more clear later part of the show, so don't expect it to be a show like NARUTO ,ONE PIEE OR other seasonal show. The right way to enjoy Gintama is to expect it to be like a sitcom like "friends " or "How I met your mother", watch it as a sitcom,once you reach some point you will surprised by its well developed plot .
