I had no idea what I was getting into before I decided to watch Doukyuusei, might even say that I had no expectations whatsoever. The art style was terrible and the characters all looked bland and boring but what waited for me was a simple story of love that I fell in love with. Do I write reviews about everything? Nope, do I write reviews about shows that make an impact on me? Yes. I decided to watch Ao Haru Ride when I saw a short clip on reels where Mabuchi hugs Futaba from the windows when she was crying and people were walking by. That one scene was enough to make me decide that it'd definitely appeal to my shojou manga heart.
This anime follows the lives of the two of them, Mabuchi and Futaba who had crushes on each other during middle school and even almost went out together but wasn't able to due to certain unavoidable circumstances ...

*Contains spoilers* Ouran High School Host Club starts off with very typical characters and setting; a special highschool for the rich, the charismatic high schoolers lead by the MC who's something like a king, and of course, the female lead who is somehow disadvantaged and has to get along with the host club members. It begins with simple stereotypes and funny casual moments where we get to see the group dynamics and how they interact with one another and also with the outsiders who don't make up the main group. I had added SnP to my watchlist the moment I read that it's an isekai, and as isekais go, it was one about someone who had no hope in their previous life and decided to make this one worth it. The only glaring difference in between our MC and the others (ex: Subaru from ReZero or Rudy from Mushoku Tensei) was that he felt things a little too deeply with less humor, he's just a serious little boy.

I hated this season so much. I hated it up to the very last episode. I do not care about sasaki. I hate what CCG did to Kaneki. I do not care about any character from the CCG.
