Ha Redo of the Healer had been on my PTW list for a long long time. It was in there due to my obsession with animes with a group that sets out to defeat the demon king-genre and also cause the redo part made me think that this was yet another isekai; I love isekai by the way. I quickly learnt that both my views were not exactly wrong, but they weren't right either. The best part of Redo is the MC. He had the world against him and so when he got the chance, he decided to just fuck it and live for the sole purpose of exacting revenge on the ones that had done him wrong. He's manipulative, holds grudges, has a very loose sense of morals, unconventional and callous. At the same time, his methods do benefit him and also somehow change the lives of those who had been on a much worse path before to a slightly different and better one, though definitely not of their own free will. This show has a lot of rape, gore, murder, and even casual racism of that specific world where it is set in and so would probably not be for everyone. However, it can be said for sure that despite all the dark elements, the way the plot plays out is extremely captivating. It's almost hentai I guess.
