Oh I figured it was Kaze Shinobu haha. Wasn't sure though. He's cool and unfairly obscure!

I'll try getting into Satsuma then, hope I won't be left with a hole in my heart after the English translation cuts off on volume 3 :D Hirata's other stuff is awesome so I expect it to be good as well

Thanks for the info! It's a shame that Anglophone publishers drop such series halfway through (far from the first time!), seems like French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian readers are much more lucky in that regard.

P.S. Where are the panels with the shooting guy on your profile from?

Hi there! Saw that you've read Hirata's Satsuma Gishiden, is it a continous narrative through all 6 volumes, or something more episodic? Wondering if it's worth starting given that there're only 3 volumes in English.

Sure thing, Hasegawa has great music. Hmm, seems like nobody has realized that my favorites are actually a meme, the lowest scoring anime on my list. Hell I got Ex-Arm, Gibiate, Dogeza de Tanondemita, and Miru Tights on there, obviously it’s a joke lol. The only anime on there I actually love is School Days, genre breaking at it’s finest.

You got some unique favorites yourself, nice! I’ve never heard of Sunny, looks interesting. (edit: Apparently the mangaka of Sunny wrote Ping Pong the Animation, holy shit I gotta read Sunny.)
