Omg of course! once you finish the 113 episode version you have multiple choices. If you want you can watch the first movie and the rest of the ge999 stuff or go to captain harlock. The first movie for galaxy express does have multiple references/big harlock spoilers for SSX, but you probably won't get it. If you want to take the harlock route first though i recommend starting with the the prequel stuff first which would be ( Arcadia of my Youth> Endless Orbit SSX >42 ep tv version) since the ge999 movie refers to the ending events of SSX. OR the 1978 one with 42 episodes then you can watch the prequel stuff after.

Personally id do arcadia of my youth > SSX > ge999 movie 1> whatever u want to pick up next next

GE999 roughly goes in this order

Queen millennia (not required but is a fun watch) > maetel legend > space symphony maetel > GE999 TV > Queen Emeraldas > GE 999 movie1 (retelling w/ references to SSX)> Eternal Fantasy (movie 1 alternate version) > Sayonara ge999 (movie 2)>

**GE999 Eternal Fantasy movie is an alternate version of the first ge999 movie without a conclusion so you can skip it and just watch movie 2 first right away. Im happy it got made because we got the song "Brave Love" by ALFEE from it and that song is awesome LOL

The rest of the GE999 stuff are oneshots/AUs that arent part of the mainline continuity.

I can make a more in-depth thing about the harlock part but i think I'm typing a lot here and I'm afraid you will get confused. If you need me to clarify on anything feel free to respond back with any questions :)
