I don't list films in my favorites, so I've put them in here: 1. Koe no Katachi 2. Sakasama no Patema 3. Kimi no Na wa. 4. Steins;Gate Movie: Fuka Ryouiki no Déjà vu 5. Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo
I usually rate anime on a scale of 4 to 10. Anything below a 4 is something that shouldn't exist/pointless. Because I only watch shows that I honestly expect to like, my mean score is pretty high. That being said, my scaling goes as follows:
10: [Masterpiece] Something I consider a masterpiece. Something that goes above and beyond anything else in its field and leaves me with a lasting, emotional impact.
9: [Highly Recommend] A fantastic show, just not as masterful as a 10. Something I'd recommend to a friend without hesitation. Hardly flawed.
8: [Recommend] A solid show all around. Lots of fun and worth watching, probably only containing a few flaws.
7: [Good] A decent show, interesting enough to complete but nothing too special. Flawed, but forgivable.
6: [Fine]Likely a generic show, a bit boring to watch but not bad enough to drop. Something I would not recommend. Flawed.
5: [Bored] I don't know why I even finished this show. There were hardly any redeeming qualities and I would definitely not recommend it to anyone else. Flaws abundant.
4: [Very Bored] Something about it was good. The animation, the basic plot, the concept. Just... something was very appealing. But I either HATED it or was bored to death watching it.
3: [Bad] It's memetic bad. It's wrong on so many levels it basically becomes kinda enjoyable for the sake of MEMES. Nevertheless, it's really bad in every aspect. I usually rate 3/10 anime adaptations/spin-offs/sequels of something I know that fail miserably in what they were trying to do.
2: [Very Bad]Something that shouldn't exist. That's the only possible reason (for me) to rate a show 2/10. It's not bad, it's not stupid, it's beyond all of that. It's something that is literally pointless in its whole existence and should have never been made.
1: [Terrible] Why are we still here? Just to suffer?
Watching Romance and Comedy anime is bad taste? Or my ratings given? Both of which are sensible. In what way is my taste bad? And how can you judge my taste when you yourself haven't watched much. If a 200+ anime completed watcher tells me that maybe I'll agree but you watched less than half of mine and tell me I have bad taste ROFL.
