"continuation of the slow paced romcom with our teasing uber waifu Nagatoro and our artistic and shy male lead Naoto senpai. We actually got some good stories this season and more romantic progression and character development than I expected. Senapi gets a 'glow up' and slowly starts opening up around Nagatoro. For her part we see a more vulnerable side of Nagatoro and some of her insecurities. I really enjoy romcoms of this nature with an engaging couple, even if the actual romance aspect is very slow paced. Nagatoro is more on the overtly comedic side than say Komi Can't Communicate with Nagatoro's noodle arms, reaction faces and her 'creepy creepiest creepsidoodle....' nonsense chants. As Gigguk sagely said about this series 'came for the smug, stayed for the smile', some genuinely sweet moments in this second season. I've wondered for a while if I over score slow romcoms, but the more romance I watch the more I come to realise how difficult it is to bring engaging and fun couples into life in an anime, this is one show that does it very well. Low 8/10"
Dropping in on someone's comments to berate them for scoring one show higher than another is a pretty silly thing to do my guy, and if you're not a young teenager (how to tell someone you're an edgy teen without saying it, by scoring Classroom of the Elite a 10/10, just messing) then would have thought you'd understand that by now. For example, giving Food Wars a 10/10, I don't get that, but hey that's because you're taste is different to mine.
Have a nice day dude!
