I always read digital comics vertically! Reading horizontally from my phone feels so uncanny for some reason, even though that's the usual way for regular books. You should be able to change the direction from settings depending on where you read though?

Wow, congrats on a great gift! (⁠人⁠ ⁠•͈0•͈⁠) I’ve never actually gotten a series I would’ve thoroughly enjoyed from MAL Secret Santa, but I love making gifts and meeting people after the reveal, so I do it every year regardless. Being on the receiving end of gifts isn’t what I prioritize! This year, I participated in the manga edition for the first time and the recommendation I received is alright. It's just a bit of a high effort read due to it having a lot of complicated economic terminology – I basically have to read it with my trusty Glosbe Translate open in another tab, haha. As for anime, I wasn’t into any of the recs I was given but I forced myself to finish one of them regardless in order to give proper feedback and ended up rating it a 2. I hope my Santa isn't too discouraged; I feel like getting me interested in a non-seasonal show is a hurdle and a half. (⁠ ⁠･ั⁠﹏⁠･ั⁠) I got the most decent gift back when I restricted the likes section the least, so I'm probably going to stick to that route from now on! I feel like that forces the one in charge of your gift to properly look at your list to determine what you'd enjoy instead of just filtering shows/manga by genres.

MALoween is quite fun too! I always look forward to the Seiyuu School room. Fingers crossed Youhei Azakami will finally make his debut in the game this year – I’ve been requesting him for 2 years in a row now! (૭ ｡¬`ᴗ´¬｡)૭
