Loved your Shokugeki no Souma (Season 2) review. You articulated all its shortcomings really well and made great points: the lack of purpose in these events, food battles being harder to follow than sports competitions, and especially the flat characters, aside from best girl Megumi. 😘

I actually only finished Ep. 2 of Season 2 since it was Megumi's battle, but I'm having a hard time caring about these other flat characters and rather predictable plot (i.e. Soma wins everything, I'm guessing?) to continue watching. 🙃 I might just continue to see more of Megumi though.

Also, glad to see another person who's watched/appreciated Monster to put it in their favorites! 😄 I don't watch enough/am not really into a lot of the more popular mainstream anime, so I'm just happy seeing other people who've seen/like what I've actually seen and liked, too. 😂
