Not every scholar can follow the Quran to the letter like ol Ohtaka did, and her personal philosophy is extremely apparent, the way she can write Alibaba to symbolize every transcendent being on Earth. We also get to witness Ohtaka break barriers in terms of gender norms, creating Morgiana to be a metaphor for Cleopatra and promoting power of women. Only truly intelligent beings will be able to appreciate such detailing of Sand culture."

Thank you so much for your review of Girls the Wilds. It was one of my favorite series back when it was new but dropped it after it devolved into a snooze fest cookie cutter K drama. After not reading any manga/webtoons for several years I came back and found your review. I was hoping it had improved but sadly that wouldn't be the case. i understand ur review and agree for the most part of magi, just wanted to say that author rly fcked up sinbads character , tho , sinbad no bouken, was such a great sequel, it showed all the hardships and adventures sinbad overcame and how he achieved title of the high king of the seven seas, personally i enjoyed sequel more than original manga, aight ima head out

I just picked up Girls of the Wild again after I decided to drop it a while back since I noticed it finished so I thought to myself I might as well just finish it.

And wow, I am shocked the ending was that bad. I completely forgot until I saw your review since it's been so long but there hasn't even been any fighting since the early chapters, which was what initially got me hooked on the show in the first place. 200 chapters after and Jae Gu remains the same up until the very last chapter. Last couple chapters I feel like his only lines were "Have you heard from Queen?". I kept thinking "surely he's realized he's way too self-conscious and passive and will do something now" and it takes until the FINAL chapter before he does something. DalDal was the only reason I continued reading, as I really did like her as a character. But seriously, that final chapter was atrocious. The most forced and cliched ending I've read.

Nice Magi review, I agree in some points, I went from a 9/10 to a 7/10 just because of this final arc. The art has worsened and I think Shinobu Othaka lost control of the story. Alma turran arc gave some great explanations for the creation of magi's world, but this final arc just tossed all away with more explanations that seemed silly to me, the characters motivations and actions also seemed silly and cliche. It was worth reading, but I feel that it could be better.
