I’m super happy you liked it. It’s one of those manga that means me feel like I’ve been to the places they are in and that makes it very easy to settle into the world. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a series with a more peaceful but honestly heartbreaking ending, Chito and Yuuri are both very simple but relatable characters and the thought provoking small conversations they have make you understand how they feel more and more each time. The way they bring the talking cat creatures (forgot what they’re called) in to the story also adds a sense of mystery and left me wondering what other things there were for them to find, sadly when you realize there’s slowly less and less for them to discover the higher they go you can sense their time is drawing near. The art style mixed with the melancholic conversation and the approach of peace brings together one of my favorite endings. I don’t think it could have ended any better way.
I have to say though I think you’ll really enjoy the anime as well which is what I believe to be one of the most underrated shows out there, it’s worth it all for the soundtrack and cozy feel of the animation if nothing else, sorry I’ll stop talking now.
Ya dude gotta love having the actual book in your hands lol. You’ve got quite the massive collection yourself, Idk how the you get your hands on vagabond, especially the singles, but that’s super sick
Yeah I really like the lonely but important feeling it has. I need to get on Blame but that’s one I really want to read the physical copies of, I keep trying to read online but it’s just not the same for me hence my low days read hahaha. Girls last tour is probably one of my favorite manga and if you ever get the chance I would very highly recommend the anime too. The show offers a different sorta vibe but still delivers the same meaning as well as an amazing soundtrack and great animation aside from a few spotty cgi scenes.
