No. I don't use discord or most social media platforms for that matter. Nothing against them, but I viewed them as being in the way since I wouldn't be as far in my watching as I would be.

I never thought of it that way haha. A couple of people that knows about my situation calls me crazy or in awe of how far i went and at that level.

I tried to keep establishing new goals for myself and challenges which helps a lot. Of course it also depends on how quickly you want to reach said destination which would determine how much mental strength you'd need to get through possible rough moments.

Yeah of about 5.5 years of watching and 3+ years of hardcore watching and a whole childhood of casual watching. It's actually not as big of a deal as you'd think since MAL adds quite a bit of commercials, music videos, shorts, specials, promotions, trailers, etc. Basically ~2200 of my entries completed came from a length of < 10 minutes with only an "episode". A good chunk of that comes from a franchise I watched and I need to complete it, or it falls within one of the achievements. Otherwise I wouldn't care too much about that.

Outside of that, at least ~450 came from a few episode OVAs.
