Nice favorites list, nice profile, and dat Emilia ass though ;D

hi , what manga you can recommend me?

Really? Wow, you're so missing out on a ton of fun anime this season. The problem with Occult;Nine is that they decided to make it a one cour series instead of a 2 cour one. You'd think the studio would have learned from the disaster of Chaos;Head but they apparently not. No one was expecting the next Steins;Gate, but you'd think they would at least try to make it decent like Robotics;Notes.

Haikyuu season 3, Brave Witches, Girlish Number, Drifters, Hibike! Euphonium 2, Natsume Yuujinchou Go, Lostorage incited WIXOSS, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans 2nd Season, and Working. See, that wasn't hard. >.>

And Occult;Nine is apparently terrible from what I read on the boards.

What a coincidence, there happens to be a lot of wonderful anime airing this season. (☞゚ヮ゚)☞ I know because some of them already have my seal of approval. :3

It's probably a comment that I made in one of the forum boards since I don't write reviews or recommendations. Glad that my comment was interesting enough for you to have an interest in talking with me haha. (`・ω・´)

You are correct in assuming that I really started hating Subaru and Re:Zero starting with the middle episodes, but Subaru started getting annoying and stupid before that and Re:Zero's problems were present from the very beginning. It's just that listing them all would be like beating a dead horse when Subaru stupidity and annoyance is enough. Although I do admit that I did find Re:Zero to be tolerable in the first half, it relies on a lot of conveniences and too much suspension of belief, which only got worse as the series went on. I completely agree with you about Kirito from SAO, but as for Momonga from Overlord... it's true that he's really overpowered from the very beginning, but it makes sense considering that he's a hardcore player that's been playing the game for years. I've also been told that the light novel has most of Momonga's development through his inner monologues, most of which was cut out of the anime. That made sense since the anime was promoted as an action anime, but when they removed most of his monologues they removed most of Momonga's development too. It's just one more complaint about anime being treated as nothing more than a flashy commercial.

You did mention that you like to choose only the best rated or popular anime, but even our shared anime has more than a 2 point difference. Of the 3 shows that I rated higher than you, all of them are anime that I watched early in my anime career, so it's clear that it's not just that you're more picky with the anime you watch. This is to be expected though since you haven't seen that many anime yet, so everything is still relatively new and fresh to you. From what I've observed and been told by others, most people don't watch more than a couple hundred anime before they get burned. This usually happens after a few years of watching anime, but sometimes it takes longer if they don't watch that often. I'm not trying to criticize you for enjoying anime more, but you were the one that decided to bring up my ratings, so of course I have to explain how and why I rate the way I do. I consider 10's anime so great that I can still have the same feeling of excitement from beginning to end whenever I re-watch it. Problem is that I have no interest in re-watching anime that I have already seen, so the highest I'll give an anime is a 9. Haikyuu!! Second Season might just be one of those anime, but I have no interest in watching it again, so I will remain a 9 to me. As for Death Note, it's obvious that Death Note has a special place in your heart, so I'm not going to say much about it anymore. I'll just end this by saying that I liked Death Note up until finally defeated L.

I find it funny how you call CyberZeta a 'Hater' when the two of you have similar mean scores and tend to enjoy anime just as much. I would think the two of you have more in common with the way the both of you love anime than you do with me. XD
And speaking of begin found: how did you find me in the first place? I've never seen you before and we do not have any mutual friends.

yup, easily the best character of this year (^_^)

I gave Re:Zero a 2 for one simple reason: Subaru. Stupidbaru is one of the most annoyingly retarded main characters I have ever seen. He's a Gary Stu that is obsessed with saving everyone he barely knows. He's completely retarded, turns into a crazed stalker, but somehow becomes a genius because of plot. He literally has the shit beaten out of him after humiliating everyone and stupidly challenging that knight to a duel everyone knew he wouldn't win - and he still doesn't understand why being a crazed stalker is bad. He even had the nerve to order Emilia to shut up and do whatever he says because he knows best. Riiiight. Because ordering the woman you love to shut up and do what you say without explaining anything is always the best thing to do. Re:Zero is a character driven story focused on Subaru, so if the main character the entire story is solely focused on is annoying retarded, the entire story suffers - and that's what happened with Re:Zero. I'd wish Subaru dead, but we all know he'll just come back to life more annoying than ever. Besides, I'm not the only one that hated Re:Zero. *Looks at CyberZeta below*

My thoughts on the 2011-2013 seasons are a little biased because I started watching anime at that time. Everything was new and fresh to me, so I enjoyed anime a lot more than I do now. Looking back, if I bothered to ever go back and re-watch all those early anime of mine again, I know that I would be hard on many of the ones that I enjoyed those years ago. Still, most anime that air each season are mediocre or terrible, and my scores reflect that. If by "gotten better" you mean the whole split cour thing, then I would disagree. I hate split cour anime because the first "season" is always dull and boring because it's mostly buildup and introduction, while the second "season" is pretty much all flashy stuff like battles, but hardly any character development. The first "season" also has to have some major battle in their finales to hook people into watching the second season, but because the entire season is just buildup and introductions, those finales are often boring and seem forced. Just look at the train wreck Tales of Zestiria the X.

Personally, I don't agree with your rating-system because it ignores all the numbers below 6 and it messes up the rating system MAL intended in the first place. But it is your rating-system and if you really enjoy the anime you watch to give everything 7 and up, then I'm happy for you. I wish that I could feel the same way about the anime I watch. I try to use to entire rating-system with 5 being decent and 4 being decent and still watchable but with some problems. Everything 3 and below are terrible and unwatchable, though I view shorts with this rating differently because they're short. Everything 6 and up I have enjoyed and recommend, though I rarely ever give 8 or 9 and have never given out a 10 since I first joined MAL. That's my rating-system.

I don't bother with many of the top anime because I just don't care to watch them or they're all really long. I have started Gintama, but I was kinda bored with the 10 episodes I watched and it's been on hold forever. I didn't even bother watching Kanon and Clannad until the anime watching challenges started. As for Death Note, it should've ended when L died. I hated his successors and the police were increasingly retarded as the series went on.
