Keep in mind that this is just a generalization for my given each score looks like, there might be some show that might not fit the description of the category because some specific personal Reasons

Yeah, that's what many say. Many say he's pretentious or overrated but I see him as one of my favorite characters.
You're definitely not wrong about the unrealistic part though, but the more times you come close to death, the more the monster will grow inside of you.
there are experience that a bit reflect/resonate some part of punpun life but it's not what make me really like punpun. what make punpun great is i get to know and drawn into punpun world, event by event, so the character is drawn clearly in my mind, even if it is fictional & not related with my own life, when i read the manga he feels real.
Hard to describe, it feel like when reading i become someone else, and come with it a lot of different emotion and experience that i might or may not ever experience in real life.
Grimmer is a great character, a great counterpart to Tenma & Johan; but I think Johan has to be my favorite out of all of them.
Johan is the definition of nihilism.
Johan spent most of his life believing in the survival of the fittest ever since his mom picked Anna instead of him. The orphanage he was later sent to was also about picking the one right person. Which ended up magnifying his way of thinking and interpreting the world. Through these experiences, his mind started to interpret that humans always strive for one person to be on top, and he wanted to be the one on top, and not being left alone.
You pretty much nailed it right there bud, no tropes, no cliches, nothing. I know some people may call Monster pretentious but I disagree 100%, the show is insanely complex and the pacing is perfect, it also remains faithful to the manga.
When Grimmer died, I fucking cried bro. I thought he was going to live to see the end. Lived like a badass, died like a badass.
Punpun is my fav manga. When i read manga, i like story that thought provoking like a reflection of life, probably because manga is collection of still image, feel suited for 'reflection' pace, there is no action or motion. Punpun is the best on all of that, it have everything i want when reading manga, and it done it all excellently. The story is about a life journey of a man, as if i drawn into this character world, event by event. It all just perfect.
to simply put it, it was amazing. probably one of the best animes ive ever watched man
amazing story, no fanservice, complex themes, moral lessons, all in one package.
well, some idiot decided to throw a gender reveal party and blew some shit up; that in turn ignited the dry, dead grass surrounding the area and thus we now have a wildfire.
some idiots also decided to set shit on fire
it's really dry right now so forests are insanely susceptible to fires.
hey man, how have you been doing? im absolutely fucking stacked with homework and work. there's also wildfires going on at where i live too , literally looks like the apocalypse
my bad for the late reply man, been doing homework and my errands all damn day.
i wanna see frank ocean live as well, but he rarely ever performs live. he was going to perform at Coachella and my friends and i were set on attending but it was canceled because of covid :(
yeah im def hoping brockhampton could get their shit back together, i've been wanting to see them live for a while too but yk with covid and all this shit, that's definitely not happening. have you seen any artists live yet?
AHHH shit I totally forgot about Tyler, Brock, and Earl. They're on a different level of hip-hop in my opinion.
I loved the Saturation Trilogy as well, sad they kicked Ameer out after that "incident." BLEACH and MILK were my sophomore year jams, I don't listen to them much anymore though. I'm glad to hear you love Tyler as well, I went to Camp Flog Gnaw last year actually, fucking amazing bro. IFHY and She are my favorites from Tyler, OKAGA, CA from Cherry Bomb as well. His style spans so many different genres, including jazz in Cherry Bomb. Also, MAAD City was great in my opinion but only 3 songs stood out to me, including Swimming Pools, which indeed sounded like a party anthem but ironically is about alcoholism in today's age. You should check out Tammy's Song from Section.80; an underrated Kendrick album indeed.
Glad to hear that, my taste also spans a variety of genres, but the kind of hip-hop I like nowadays is Lil-Tjay, Speaker Knockerz, and 03 Greedo. Not the best music in my opinion but it's the kind of music I can just vibe to, enjoy, and literally all my friends listen to it. I also really like Kendrick Lamar, especially DAMN. and To Pimp A Butterfly. Kanye West is also one of my favorites, but only MBDTF and Yeezus tbh.
Wbu what kinda hip-hop artists you like?
