Welcome to the Jaminjayz Official MAL Profile, where I track my anime and manga titles in order to keep tabs on ongoing series and watch or read anything I want without overthinking it.
About me: I am an aspiring professional storyteller, currently working as a Visual Concept Artist and 2D Animator at Start-Up Studios. I am also working on a manga that will launch eventually.
If you are inspired to start an anime or to look for something to entertain you, this is how my list works: When picking an anime or manga from my list, I recommend checking the rating. My ratings are based on basic factors like:
- How I found the series (Animation quality; Art quality; Story; Interest)
- Attachment to the series
- Trying not to be biased as much as possible.
My rating system works like this:
10 -> Must watch/read (if you can).
9 -> Really good anime/manga highly recommended.
8 -> I recommend that series.
7 -> I suggest checking it out; you might like it more than I did or not at all (it's 50/50).
6 -> I liked the anime/manga; I don't suggest it per se, but you can try it, but I don't guarantee you'll love it.
5 -> I don't recommend this anime/manga but as always, you can try it if you want.
4 -> Don't watch/read it, will likely be a waste of time.
2 to 3 -> Don't watch/read it.
1 -> Terrible.
(For ongoings, you can give them a shot if over 6, but I don't guarantee your enjoyment unless it's a 9 - 10. Also, don't take the ratings to heart as a end all be all but feel free to explore as you see fit).
