Oh yeah I remember that part! I should really watch more comedy anime though I hear Prison School and Backstreet Girls Gokuko ( i might be spelling the Gokuko part wrong) is really funny (and seems to be in my area of humor)

Ah feel free to give your thoughts of anything Junji Ito! Even the ones I have no idea about whether you dislike something or like something I'm open to hearing anything! I gotta read them all then! Oh and if you have any horror suggestions in general (manga, anime) then feel free to rec those too! I'm actually thinking about buying Utsubora soon (The Story of a Novelist) I know vaguely what it's about because of a youtube video but I think the art looks really haunting/intriguing
though in terms of Ito's stuff my top priority is definitely NLH

(Which I should probably watch Lupin) but youre right its really cool to see that anime really is universal (though of course its more popular in some countries vs others)

Hm that's really interesting that's a really good way to choose what manga to buy! I think I've just come to the conclusion to just do whatever T^T (Ive bought so much manga since we last spoke so I don't even think I have any rules) but that's surprising to hear about Dark Horse I had no idea! hmm maybe I should read it sooner rather than later then...

Have you read any more Vinland Saga since we last spoke?? Ive read a bit more and it god so good so quickly! I mean it was always good and I do agree the farm segment really was refreshing but whew the drama that happens...

Ahh I've seen Asobi Asobase! I think I enjoyed some bits of it more than others but I really liked Olivia in the show, it was funny whenever she acted like she knew English XD

I will definitely buy NLH physically when I get the chance to! I have Uzumaki physically so I do agree the page turning aspect is really different from other horror manga... The physical omnibuses are really nice to I really like the quality of Uzumaki! Do you own all of Junji ito's works physically?? I should honestly reread Uzumaki I think about doing it a lot... i ask so many questions about his works oh my... one last one i promise, is it worth getting Gyo physically or any other of his works? I really liked the second half of Tomie as well but Im wondering if there's any other besides NLH physically?

Yeah I used to use kissanime a lot too but now I only use it for specific harder to find anime

I would definitely recommend the anime for Nana because I think the music and everything involved takes it to a whole other level. I really love the manga for Nana but I think it's so much better to experience once you've seen the anime. Fun fact I one day saw Nana on MAL and thought it looked interesting and something I'd be interested to watch but I never got around to it. Then when I was traveling and was in Rome I saw this manga shop with other types of anime merch and in it I see some Nana merch. I talked to the worker and he told me about how it used to be extremely popular when it first released in Italy but then because the manga went on hiatus which led to no season 2 it started to be forgotten about which I think that information itself was interesting to me.

I just read the first omnibus for I am a hero! It was very good! Do you think I should continue to try getting the physical versions of I am a hero or is it better to just read it all online rather than wait?

Oh now I'm on 90 of Vinland Saga! I should be reading it faster since I'm reading online but I've actually been really slow with reading Vinland Saga... What are your thoughts on what has happened so far? A manga cage sounds really cool and I think in the right area of your country it could definitely be possible! I mean there's a naroodle in Florida which I hear is pretty famous that a lot of people go to ( i haven't but it looks nice!)

I've been pretty bad at reading Punpun recently so I couldn't say much about it right now but if you pick it up tell me your thoughts!

I really need to watch Nichijou because I tell myself that I generally don't really like comedy (but i haven't really seen much comedy anime so I actually don't know for sure) so I really gotta watch more like Nichijou, Daily life of highschool boys (which i also hear is really funny) so I'll check it out thank you!

the thing with me though is that since there's only so much physical manga in English that im interested in I'm wondering if its okay to read them online and "waste" that physical purchase opportunity (this is mostly just in my head but there's so much manga out there I don't know why I even think about it that why jsjs)

Oh and on another note for manga that I've just read (physically) I read besides I am a hero is two shoujo, and Uzumaki! Which even from your pfp i'd like to think you're a Ito fanatic and I really liked it! Do you think it's worth buying No Longer Human physically? I have a friend who purchased the Hardcover and I'm not sure if I'd buy other of Ito's work physically but I'm definitely interested in No Longer Human

I'll definitely get back to you once I finish Ore Monogatari! I've been meaning to watch Nisekoi for a while too it honestly looks really good. Have you watched Nana or Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou? If you haven't seen those I think you would like those in terms of romance. I'm really picky on specific romance but I think they're really one of a kind. Though Nana is definitely the most realistic romance anime I've ever watched and it showed so many negative aspects as well. Not as happy as other romances but it's my top favorite romance anime ;-;

Gankutsuou is honestly amazing, the first two episodes were honestly really interesting then it became a little slow pace (not that slow pace is bad because it's definitely not) but then a plot twist just happened and I'm extremely invested into it.

or even Kissanime.ru but i'd suggest you to have an adblocker while using Kiss (but it's still usable without)
I use Ublock Origin if you're looking for a good adblocker and its free too! (Ublock even lets you watch Crunchyroll without ads if you don't have premium)

I just ordered the first volume of I Am a Hero! Is it as good as you expected it to be? I'm also reading Vinland Saga but I'm only on chapter 78 are you enjoying that as well? I just started Oyasumi Punpun and it's honestly really good so far
Do you only read physical manga or do you read online as well?

hmm after I finished the Nana anime I had to read the manga (which is on hiatus and never got an ending for like 11 years) I read the manga and I honestly really enjoyed and am looking to purchase the second half of the manga (because I read it online) when I was traveling and didn't have the chance to try buying it, but funny story I have the first volume in French when I went to France when I found it at a secondhand store.

Kare Kano is also another manga I ended up reading (because the anime only had 18 canon episodes out of 26) so I ended up reading the manga and really enjoying it! I'm also trying to collect the second half of the series (but I just bought some physicals for it since I also read that online) So I recommend that one as well!
(but they're both romance so if you're not up for it that's understandable but Nana is definitely not on the shoujo spectrum of romance so you'll probably enjoy that better)
but I won't even lie I still cry about the Nana franchise even though its been several months since I watched it
I haven't read the best of manga yet but when I find other series that I think deserve to be bought in physicals I'll definitely let you know

Yeah i read a little of the content for attack on liberio again and just wow... I'm so certain that aot is a masterpiece
it makes me a little sad though because i miss having eren's pov jsjs

Recently I've been mainly watching Hunter x hunter, Ashita no Joe, Gankutsuou, Lucky star and a couple other things. I think so far the most I enjoy watching Gankutsuou cause its really unique and I feel like I'm drawn toward interesting art styles as well. Have you been catching up on anything else recently in terms of manga and anime?

I really need to start Tower of God, I've been told it's really good so far and I read two chapters of the webtoon and was gonna continue but forgot to ;-; I just started Sing "Yesterday" For me! I need to watch the second episode so far I think the art style is pretty interesting it reminds me of a couple random artstyles (maybe pet or similar to NieA Under 7)
I really need to watch Kaguya as well I haven't watched any "newer" romances because I'm always afraid they wont be as good as the older ones but I should think differently and give them a chance :))

Ah I've heard great things about both of those shows I should definitely watch them! I surprisingly haven't seen the recent season of mha even though when the third season was airing I watched it pretty religiously haha. Ill add Blade of the Immortal to my ptw! I've never heard of that one before surprisingly
